Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Sentinel Sean of Renegade Regime arrived to DayClan camp with Whispyfeather. DayClan was already aware, Whispyfeather chose to move to Renegade Regime because if she didn't she'd never see Atticus-tyke again. He chose to live in the Regime and Commander Mars wouldn't let outsiders visit him which meant she couldn't be DayClan, she had to be a Regime cat. But DayClan was far more welcoming, she knew that when the Regime would let her she could visit her kits in DayClan as she pleased. She wanted to speak with Crystalgrove, Kinkedpaw, Mistypaw, Hazelpaw, and the kits who were always raised to call her grandma, Amethystkit, Butterkit, and Astralkit one last time.
"I've decided to join the Regime to be there for Atticus-tyke," Whispyfeather said before quickly adding, "When the Regime let's me though, I'll visit you all and I promise I will be there for your warrior ceremonies. I won't miss it for the world. You've all made me so proud. I chose to be a raiser, which means I'll be taking care of many kits there, right now there are many little paws to keep track of, but I promise when there is time I will come see you all and give DayClan a paw with any dens that need to be fixed up."
Sean's own eyes glossed over the camp, he hadn't been like Whispyfeather. He left his kits in DayClan and... That was that. He didn't make any brave move to live in DayClan or even visited. He was only here to make sure Whispyfeather came to DayClan and arrived back home to the Regime safely. Still, he couldn't keep his eyes from wandering, searching for any glimpses of Angelpaw and Cinnamonkit.
Kinkedpaw stood close to her litter mates Mistypaw and Hazelpaw. She already missed her mom, but was happy she had her mom while she was a kit, she was an apprentice now and could stand on her own paws. She selfishly wanted her mom to herself, but a deep part of her knew her little brother Atticus-tyke probably needed Whispyfeather more right now. Still it was hard to nod to anything her mom was saying.
Mistypaw’s light yet colorful voice spoke up. She brushed past her siblings and look at her mother in the face, golden eyes as serious as stone. “I came here to be with you, mother. I don’t.... I don’t want to be apart again.” She looked back at her siblings, folded ears pressed even closer to her head. She felt a bit of shame for speaking up to join Whispyfeather back in the Regime. No matter how much she could learn about DayClan, the Regime was always in the back of her mind, wondering how her siblings back there had been fairing since her and her brothers departure. She hoped they would understand her want to go back to the place she knew truly as home. She missed the tunnels and the raisers that had originally shown her the ways of the Blind Protector.
“I want to go back to the Regime and train as a Guider Cadet. It’s still my home- our home-“ She took a last glance back Kinkedpaw and Hazelpaw, “and I’ve got to admit: I’ve missed it a lot. Please, mother, let me come with you?”
Crystalgrove listened to her sister speak, as if it was resonating within her. She took a step back a moment before she spoke. Would she want to go live in some place she had never been before? Would she be able to live in tunnels? She could feel her mothers sadness in waves. She knew it hurt her to leave. She padded back forward. "I will come too." she said, nodding at her sister, Mistypaw.

"BUT. WAIT." A strong little meow piped up from behind the others and the white puff-ball that made up Astralkit launched forward at Whispyfeather. She buried her face into the she-cat's leg. "What about hide and seek? I want to play hide and seek for only a little bit, not forever." She whined as the alligator tears began to form in her bright blue eyes. She had no understanding of her grandmother's reasons. She was too young and her head had always been a bit in the clouds. "And the stars? What if you never get to see them again?" The thought seemed to pierce the little kitten's heart like thorns. She couldn't bear to always live in darkness. She heard that the tunnels were scary and there was no light. No light meant that there was no stars in the sky. Why would cats live without stars?

"Of course you two can come with!" Whispyfeather said, almost breaking into tears.
It felt like everything was going to fall apart, but if Mistypaw and Crystalgrove came it wouldn't feel as big of a tear in her heart. Maybe they could all start new? Whispyfeather looked to Kinkedpaw who lingered near Mistypaw with an uncomfortable expression. Before Kinkedpaw could be placed on the spot though Whispyfeather's attention was redirected towards Astralkit. She frowned, she had no idea when she would see her again, but she knew that no one was going to stop her. Once she earned the Regime's trust and sunk into life in the underground she would return to DayClan to visit. It wasn't as though she was moving to a new clan and could see them in gatherings, she would have to make her own time to see her grandkits.
"When I come back you'll probably be an apprentice and we can do all the things in the world together, but the regime is my home because that's where my kit is. That's where Snowprince's daughter is, I want to take care of my family. I'll always miss DayClan, but to me, home is where my family is at and that's what I follow. Even if I have to miss the stars," Whispyfeather said firmly giving Astralkit a small nuzzle, "Besides, you gotta keep up the DayClan lineage."
As soon as she said it she knew it was half wrong, that although she saw Soaringdawn and Flyingcolors as her own from being around Snowprince that they weren't hers, but her lips pressed back into a smile, "Besides, you have renegade regime blood in your veins Astralkit. I have to take care of your family over there and you need to take care of your family here. That's both of our jobs now."
She looked back at her daughters with a grateful look in her eyes, "Thank-you for deciding to come with me."
