"Remember, you'll see your spirit guide first thing in the morning so get a good nights sleep," Glowstar told the apprentices.
It was a long kept tradition at this point that DayClan apprentices were mentored by spirits. The spirits could only appear in DayClan's territory and no one could quite understand why. However Glowstar seemed strangely unsettled by the knowledge when the phenomenon first occurred which likely meant she either knew about it or caused the phenomenon to happened and she probably did both. Whatever the cause might be spirits would appear to the apprentices and mentor them their entire apprenticehood. When the apprentices would become warriors, it was when they would go through the Spirit Glen. Once they went through the Spirit Glen and back the other side they could no longer see their mentors just like every other warrior.
