Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Glowstar trotted down the dirt path like a newly born deer experiencing fall for the first time. Her eyes were big gazing at the blazing colored leaves that skirted past the path in tiny dirt devil fashion. Her trot was more like a joyful skip as she ushered herself further into SunClan territory. After all, if she wanted to experience autumn, it wasn't in her own territory. DayClan had patches of trees and nothing else. Such as near Endless Falls there was a small lump of trees encapsulating the area and of course the Apple Orchard. Even as she didn't want to admit it, WaterClan, her favorite clan didn't look as good as SunClan did in autumn. Sure WaterClan had trees, but they clogged up any vision of rivers and because of the muddy land they stuck to cats pelts. In SunClan autumn was just beautiful, no consequences or shortage of eye candy here. It was all around almost romantic, too bad Deal wasn't here to see it. But if he was, he'd probably get killed because it's SunClan territory. Soooo really it didn't matter either way.
When she approached SunClan camp she stopped short remembering that she hadn't brought any prey with her this time. She hadn't really left DayClan camp intending to visit SunClan, it just sort of happened. Still it felt rude not to have anything. Not that Foxstar ever brought prey to DayClan, but prey was never really a problem for DayClan until Leafbare where they would be near the brink of death because their barren landscapes turned their clan into a death trap of blizzards and white outs. Still she walked into camp anyways, glancing around. Likely intending to spot out someone to drag onto an insane adventure.
As it was, it seemed that the Senator's presence had been expected, for Foxstar was already seated nearby, speaking with a rather handsome tom who the she-cat would likely vaguely recognize. It was Darkcomplex, one of the first promoted initiates, a large, thick furred, silver cat with ebony stripes, a long white mane and eyes that were just slightly mismatched in the form of one being yellow-gold and other gold-amber. Not exactly the picture of SunClan with his cool toned pelt, but not unappealing.
Upon Strikhendoniadalisay stepping into camp, the High Priestess and Warrior turned to face her, the former wearing a borderline dangerous grin, whereas the latter looked nervous, even a touch sheepish, which was unusual. He'd toned down after his initiation, but Darkcomplex was known for his ruthlessness and intelligence. Insecurity was entirely out of place on the tom, yet there it was, clear as day.
"Ah, just who I was looking for! Strikhendoniadalisay, I'd like you to meet Darkcomplex. I don't think you've really had the opportunity to speak much." Foxstar greeted, her voice a downright honeyed purr that could only spell infinite amounts of trouble. Everything about this situation screamed that Glowstar would be wise to simply turn and walk away before she inevitably got roped into whatever her friend had planned, which, by the expression on the fox-heart's face, would only cause her infinite amounts of grief to be involved in. Of course, knowing the cult leader, it was expected that Foxstar likely had already thought of such things, and would drag Green back to camp by force if she tried to run away, laughing all the while.
Strikhedoniadalisay grinned with unease, but inside her heart raced with that addictive feeling of despair and maybe a hint of fear? Cozy!
She looked back and forth between the two, a thrill unearthing inside of her.
Her smile widened, shifting into that genuine, contagious grin, "Okay, what are we up to? Are we sacrificing him or something?"
Wait I don't even like sacrifices, I just like the idea of it. "No wait, actually just yeah, what are we up to? Cause if we're sacrificing me I'd really like it if the Sun God killed me. I think he was cool with that. If not I have a list of other cool deaths. I think if I got rabies it would be really painful, but I'd turn into like a zombie and be the start of the first zombie apocalypse and I think that would be really cool and leave a memorable and chaotic mark on society for generations to come so I'd be cool with that kind of sacrifice."
A soft laugh escaped Foxstar's maw, and she shook her head slightly. Glowstar most certainly did come up with some interesting situations. It was probably good she didn't spend too much time in SunClan, lest her and the Sun God get up to all sorts of mischief. Sometimes it was concerning, thinking that the clan's deity was someone so similar to her viably insane friend. Thankfully that chaos was on her side, if nothing else.
"No, we were actually talking about you. You've been part of SunClan for a while, but you haven't taken on a mate yet. Well, Darkcomplex is an eligible bachelor, and I think you'll like him." She said it so calmly, so casually, as if she were simply talking about the weather, and not completely undermining Glowstar's relationship with Deal, let alone forcing her into a mateship she didn't need nor want. All the same, it was quite clear that this was nonnegotiable, what with her dangerous expression, which now seemed almost sinister in comparison to how it'd been a few heartbeats ago.
The fox-furred feline practically shoved Darkcomplex forward, the tom stumbling right into Green before the she-cat could even consider leaving, surprise flickering in his expression as he barreled into his new mate. "I now pronounce you tom and wife." Foxstar cheered giddily, cutting off any chance at protest instantly. "Have fun, lovebirds."
She nodded along with Foxstar. Yes, she had been apart of SunClan for a while and supplied them with a great amount of apples in their freshkill pile. Yes, she would probably get along with a guy named Darkcomplex just judging by the name. Yes he would be a good mate. Wait... Before she could think he was shoved into her. Strikhedoniadalisay reached out a paw to steady Darkcomplex as he if he were a deadly rock thrown at her that she caught before impact, "Aw cute, my sisters shipping us. Let's see what you got," Her smile was as dangerous as the night and for the most part it was terrifying, but her eyes glimmered with amusement. This was a game. There was no way this toms favorite flavor of mate was psycho or that he was okay with her never being able to have kits or that he was okay that she was mates with Deal.
Amusing the idea Strikhedoniadalisay tip toed her paw up his chest, lifting up his chin curiously before giving a simple prod at his leg, "nice nice, give me a smile, you got good teeth too, right? Can't have future kits who if gum disease is in the bloodline, tsk."
She leaned in closer to him, the amusement that was in her eyes lost in her gentle gaze, "Hey, Dark, what are you thinking for kit names? I always like ironic names, maybe Harmony, who would ever think I'd name a kit that?"
Luckily, Darkcomplex had the sense to expect, and accept, Glowstar's bizarre attitude. He'd seen enough of her from afar, and had been given a rundown by Foxstar, though far too brief to be truly useful. The comparison of Strikhendoniadalisay to the Sun God however, was not lost on him. At least she couldn't turn him to ash if he was sarcastic. Thank the Sun for small blessings, right? He flashed pearly white teeth to hide his discomfort, watching her with a mixture of curiosity and resignation for what he'd been shoved into.
So invested were they in each other, that neither apparently notice Foxstar slip away with the faintest whisper of "good luck" and a grin before disappearing to watch from a safe distance.
"Harmony sounds like a name almost as beautiful as yourself." He purred in response, "Though I see the irony. Perhaps you'd find something such as Angel just as amusing? I am, admittedly, partial to the more chaotic side of names, myself. Mayhem, maybe?" The tom offered without a second thought. Before joining SunClan, he'd survived with violence and manipulation, and though he suspected he couldn't get away with the latter on her, it had taught him false charm and the quick thinking that kept him from crumbling under her sudden onslaught of questions.
"Heh, cute. But really I have a mate, his names Deal, we've dated for like two days. So. It's kind of a big deal. And like you seem cool and all, but my hearts somewhere else. Anyways, I don't think Fox is going to drop this, but like, you're free to cheat on me or whatever. You just um. Continue your life and things," Strikhedoniadalisay said with a click of her tongue as she moved over to the freshkill pile.
After all, it was one thing for Foxstar to want them to be together, it was another thing for her to actually enforce cuddling, whispering sweet nothings into her supposed mates ear, and all around forcing them to be together. She'd probably consider them mates and that would be it. Plus the guy deserved to actually date someone in a real relationship that loved him and lived in his clan. Probably someone who shared the same cult values and overall acceptance of violence in this place.
"Do you really think Foxstar's just going to leave it at that?" The tom turned ever so slightly to look for the Priestess, having only just realized she was missing before he spoke. "When we were talking, she told me she expected us to have a litter of kits." Glowstar was nice enough, but Darkcomplex wasn't an idiot. Foxstar had dismissed his question about the DayClan leader's mate, but even he could see the depth of her feelings for Deal, and the fact that this mateship was out of convenience and wanting control over her friend. All the same, that didn't discount the warrior's feelings for Green, though they were mostly of curiosity and acceptance than love at this current moment.
"You know her better than I do though, so maybe I'm wrong." To be truthful though, he liked the idea of kits. Strikhendoniadalisay wasn't only a pretty face, but she was intelligent and dangerous, and both aspects of her were certainly appealing to have, both as a mate and in their kits.
"Woooow. Foxstar really does have a lot of faith in me. I suppose she's going to ask me to turn the river into blood next. I can't have kits. So while we're forced to be close, I'll tell you that my mom fed me herbs everyday as a kit, being young it had a full effect on me. I'm not able to have kits from it, not able to produce any milk. And if you know enough about me you know that wasn't entirely true. But the kits I had. They're half cat, half something entirely else. I love them. But even I know that they're nature, size, that copper glimmer, it's not normal. Nor was the kitting. I can't give you kits and even if I did they'd be half breed monsters," Glowstar said, licking at her grass stained paw as if she could clean it off.
"You're welcome to impregnate another cat, she can be our surrogate. You can keep them though, I don't want anything Foxstar can use against me," Glowstar paused, looking at Darkcomplex, "You are hot though," She winked with a smile too sweet for someone without a soul. Credit where credits due after all. Still even after she was kidnapped and Deal was kidnapped she saw a future with him beneath the wisteria tree. Where they could watch tadpoles in the streams, maybe Deal would knock up some she-cat who didn't want her kits and they could raise them together. They'd know them Chaos and Love because they'd be pieces of them and they'd take over the world. Only Chaos would turn on his father because that's just how their bloodlines seemed to work. After Chaos ran away from home Love would become rebellious and decide he hates her and team up with Chaos to destroy her. Afterwards they'd be lured into a ditch after hearing cries for help and the kits they worked so hard to raise would bury them alive. And she'd look at Deal and tell him they had a good run while it lasted. She smiled. Deal and her would have a beautiful, eventful future.

"Half-breed monsters?" A smile played at his lips. "That doesn't seem so bad. And truly, I think Foxstar might kill us both if I tried such a thing. She doesn't exactly like to be undermined." He also didn't really like the idea of simply impregnating another she-cat either. While it would give him kits, they wouldn't have Glowstar's delightfully dangerous bloodline. Not to mention the fact that Darkcomplex was loyal to Foxstar and SunClan, even if it didn't appear so. He really had no desire to disappoint her, though he wouldn't try to force anything on Glowstar that she didn't want, either. Not only because she would probably skin him alive first.
Glowstar's playful gaze splintered, softened. He really couldn't have anyone, but her. The tom spent his life dedicated to Foxstar and SunClan and in return she gave him a mate who could never love him back and never give him the family he deserved. An instant, tragic romance. She slowly walked up to him and all at once embraced him. She nuzzled her face gently over his shoulder. Her whisper sending tingles down his spine as she spoke, "I'm sorry I can't give you the family you want."
She removed herself from his shoulder, "I understand that I'm literally you're only option and because of that we'll make this work, even if my heart belongs to another."
Glowstar sat down, "While I'm in SunClan I'll try to maintain an appearance that I'm your mate, no promises at gatherings. If you have a friend who wants to do a double date I will accompany you. I don't plan on going to The Isle of the Chosen or StarClan, I'm going to the Dark Forest so this is death do us part. If anyone is bothering you I will hurt or kill them however you like. I'll go with you to festivals... If Foxstar is annoying me during any of these times then all bets are off and I may not attend. You're allowed on DayClan territory anytime you want, though I mean, honestly anyone really is so long as they don't hunt on it."

Darkcomplex shrugged. "If Foxstar can make it to StarClan under our laws, so can you. And if not, at least make sure to come and visit, I doubt the Sun God would argue." At least, not from what he'd heard. The deity seemed to like Glowstar, so he would hardly be surprised if the Sun bent the rules to accommodate her. "I'll make sure to visit, and won't hunt on your land. I make no promises that others in SunClan will do the same." They weren't barred from it, and as such, cats tended to hunt where they wanted nowadays. Usually, that was rogue lands, but sometimes they ran over the borders for a rabbit or squirrel without a second thought. Of course, Glowstar probably knew that already, and he figured she was able to deal with that accordingly.
She perked up at Darkcomplex's comment, "You're welcome to hunt on DayClan, Dark. I'm your mate, I can't deny that. However much you'll never replace who's already in my heart, I'm yours because that's all Foxstar is willing to give to you and I will spoil you senselessly in all the ways she never will because of it. Besides our scent markers have been a bit blurred since I came back from SunClan. Though honestly, maybe this is just the Primal in me talking, but a rabbit that was once on your land running onto mine seems like fair game. The only thing I hate about your clan is your petty nature," She shrugged.
Her gaze fastened onto Darkcomplex more strongly this time when she met his eyes once more, "But don't ever think for a moment you're special enough to tamper in anyway with my family. If you think your Gods strong enough to protect you, you don't know me. If you think you're out of my sight my claws are inches away from your throat. I've escaped prisons when I was a kit, I've killed a God before, and your leaders antics have only been allowed because they amuse me. I won't end your life, I'll take your soul," her eyes were so dark there was barely a glimmer of green left, but like a sunrise they burst back, round and bright with her smile, "Soooo so long as you stay away from hurting my kits or whatever we're totally cool. Just like, probably don't hurt them. And if Foxstar says she'll kill you if you don't you might want to consider that option than whatever I'll do to you. Anyway, want to go get something to eat I've talked like wayyy too much and I'm thirsty as all get out."

Darkcomplex chuckled, though he knew Glowstar wasn't joking in the slightest. "I'm not stupid enough to do something of the sort, nor do I really want to, and given the little I've heard of them, I probably couldn't do much even if I tried. I'll be sure to avoid harming them as best I can. I make no promises that accidents won't happen though, but I'll be sure to let you know if they do." And he did genuinely mean accidents, namely being that he didn't realize they were related, or if they attacked him first or something. All the same, he was serious about avoiding it, despite the accidents comment, and half-thinking that if there was such an accident he wouldn't live to tell her about it anyway. Maybe he was overstating their capabilities, but when there were rumors from multiple cats about just how terrifying Glowstar's family could be, he decided to believe them until proven otherwise. If nothing else, Glowstar was terrifying enough for him to avoid her kits as much as possible.
"And finding something to eat sounds like a wonderful idea. Not to mention we can avoid prying ears that way." The latter part of his comment was softer, gaze drifting to the rest of the clan.
"Awesome, want to try fish oh or you could try DayClan's famous apples, maybe you'd actually like them. I could show you around, especially since we literally show any random stranger around," She broke into a laughter that was as sweet as chimes, "If you're interested."
She leaned back on her toes a bit, "Oh and are you going to call me Glow or Strikhedoniadalisay?"
