Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(I wanna do something where she goes exploring with another apprentice. Either into another clans territory or something. Maybe she gets hurt or the other cat does. We can do a group of cats. But I’d like it if they were all apprentices so that it’s kind of a group of irresponsible kids doing their own things with no common sense or adult supervision)
Deerpaw was a thrill seeker. She didn’t care what it was or who it was with, she just wanted to enjoy life. Live it to the fullest, right? That’s what she’s heard from an elder. They already passed but they told her all the stories, all the tales of the life she’d lived. It sounded amazing! Adventure at every angle, love and laughter. Clearly she needed to live her life the same; to the fullest. Even as a kit she’d lived exploring a Nd enjoyed life. Now, she had more freedom!
Starkpaw wasn't a thriller seeker but, he was known to be reckless. An instigator that loved to push everyone's buttons and test the boundaries. For him this was just another sleepless night and he had long since lost count of how many this made. Since sleep just wasn't going to be an option he found himself wandering on restless paws. The bracken tom wasn't expecting to find any other cat out and about. His surprise was unmasked as he stumbled upon Deerpaw but, quickly recovered as he approached his fellow apprentice.
"Deepaw? What are you doing out here?" he hissed quietly, He couldn't see any other cat but, that didn't mean they were entirely alone. He at least had the sense to be careful this time.
She slapped her tail across his muzzle, muffling his words. "Shh!" Deerpaw glanced back towards where they'd both come from, then all around them. This wasn't the first time she'd snuck out of camp, she'd even done it when she was a kit once, though she'd been caught then. She was determined to not get caught this time. "Nothing. I'm doing nothing!" Would he tell? She wasn't sure. Nervous energy coursed through her as she slowly lowered her tail away from him.
"Well why are you doing 'nothing' in the middle of the forest at night? Let me guess, sleepwalking?" He lightly batted her tail away from his muzzle and looked around, wondering what could have her so anxious. "If you're worried about being caught, might I suggest we move farther away from camp? Less chance of some warrior catching us that way."
"Are you coming with me?" She wasn't staying in the territory tonight; her heart sought other lands, curious of what wonders they had. Deerpaw grinned, company was always welcome in her opinion. Berryfrost, her mother, may not approve of what she does as most times she comes back scratched or injured in some way, but what she didn't know what'd hurt her. This would be the first time that she snuck across the border, something her firm StarClan believing mother would never approve of in a million years. A storm was in the air, the main reason she was even attempting this as she hoped it would wash her scent away and leave no evidence of what she'd done.
"Of course I'm coming with you, I can't let you have all the fun" he scoffed as though it had been obvious. Wanderlust had never been his thing but, the prospect of excitement and potential danger made his paws tingle. He dug his claws into the earth trying to starve off the feeling. Opening his mouth slightly, he could taste the promise of rain, the slight humidity making the night pleasantly warm. Ear twitching his shifted on his paws. "Lead the way" he meowed. "Let's try not to washed completely away by the rain."
“I make no promises!” Deerpaw, with a grin a mile wide, took off towards the border, not caring who’s land she crossed into. Adventure was out there and she cared not where she found it! “We’re only looking, so we can’t hunt or anything and if we get caught we play dumb got it?” It’s what she’d told herself since the moment she thought of this idea earlier in the day. It was best to play it somewhat safe, or to at least not cause problems like prey stealing would.
