Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It was good to have an apprentice again. It had been a long time since he'd had someone to hang out with, and while maybe an apprentice was less ideal than someone his own age, the warrior would take what he could get. He had grown close with his apprentices before, so why not this time? Maybe once Waterpaw was a warrior they'd be friends.
In a rather good mood, the ticked tabby woke and stretched languidly, then padded down the cliffs to seek out his new trainee. The sun was warm overhead and left him feeling a little sleepy, and he was tempted to just lay out in the sun and relax, but that would hardly be a good start to their training. It was his first day with Waterpaw, even if the apprentice had only been reassigned and not newly promoted, and he wanted to do it right.
Waterpaw slipped out of the apprentice den and shook her blue pelt. She had gone through.. what, two mentors now? None of them really stuck around though. They either didn't ever really take her training or straight up forgot about her. While she was used to that, others forgetting her, Risingshine was livid with how her daughters' training had gone so far. If she could have her way, she'd train her kit herself. Thank the Sun, though, that Risingshine couldn't train her own kit. She had her own apprentice she should be focussing on instead of all of Waterpaws business.
The molly spotted Condorstrike and waved him down with her flicking tail. "Hey! Condorstrike! Over here!"
As a warrior, Condorstrike was not spectacular. Indeed the tom was so incredibly average in most respects of his life it was hard for most of the clan to understand how he had become Foxstar's mate instead of boring her to death the first time they met. He was reliable and steady and he would not give up on his apprentice, but other than his incessant loneliness and want of a friend in his new clan he was a fairly forgettable mentor.
"There you are, Waterpaw!" The tom smiled as he padded to her side, smiling down at her. "Are you ready to head out for some training this morning?"
