Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. His love was greater than the challenges he woild face in a new clan. A clan that did not trust him or know anything about him. New traditions and way of life.

Ravenstar met the large grey tom at the border and smiled as he crossed. She purred and rubbed her cheek on his softly. It felt like they hadn't been together in ages although it really hadn't been that long. "Hi." She greeted him with a smile.

She blinked at him for a few moments, searching his eyes for a sign that maybe it was a joke or he meant something else or... "In Summerclan? Are you sure? Won't you miss your clan?" Her heart skipped a beat at the thought of him coming to live with her but she also didn't want to pull him away from somewhere he loved.
Fogeye gave a slow nod. “I will miss it.. but my heart is pulling me to you. I know that you cannot leave your clan. Things... may be hard for a while. I’m not used to the heat here, but I don’t want to be any where else.” Fogeye had become more sociable since him and Ravenstar had become mates, and she had dragged him from his shell slowly. It was amazing what love could do to a cat.

Ravenstar couldn't help but purr and she pressed her muzzle against his lovingly. "Thank you. I'm surprised but... it makes me so happy to think that I can see you everyday and I don't need to hide you from my clan."
He nodded softly, gazing at the feline as she pressed into him. “We should get going before it gets too late. Do you think they’ll... like me?” It was a silly worry, but one he had.

The sleek back she-cat smiled and nodded, leaning in to the comfort of him for a moment before drawing back just a little bit. "I think they will take a few days to get used to you, but my clan is very friendly. It is very rare for them to act poorly to new members."
He brushed his lips against her whiskers, taking in the soft scent of the leader. “Then let’s go. I don’t want to waste anymore time being so far away from you. I left this morning with full intent to stay in SummerClan. You’ll never have to wait to see me again.”

Happiness bubbled inside her at an unprecedented rate and she nodded, pressing into his side gently as she led the way towards the camp. "Will you be okay in this heat? You have such thick fur, most Summerclan cats have thin, short pelts for a reason."
He wiggled his nose. “Oh come on, I’m sure no cats ever died from getting too hot.” He smiled lightly, not even realizing his own words would eventually lead to his end.
He purred. Ravenstar had truly opened his heart. The tom leaned into her, his tail brushing against her back, and his heart fluttering. “I won’t leave. I promise.”
