Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
When Glowstar had demoted her, her confidence- something the deaf apprentice had been working on for moons - had shattered and it was taking longer to gain it back. She'd been confident as a kit, confident enough to ask Flyingcolors to take her on as an apprentice, but then SunClan had taken over, and then she'd gotten demoted. It didn't matter that she'd been eventually reinstated to her position. She at the herbs in front of her. She should know this. She did know this but something compelled her to double check with her mentor. After eight moons as an apprentice, she should be able to be a Medicine Cat without help. She should've been close to her full name.

The medicine cat knew that her apprentice had been met with hardship and adversity in many different ways in the past eight moons and the blue merle could feel her apprentices confidence slipping. She worried, a medicine cat's confidence was just as important as their knowledge and skills. Without confidence in yourself you could not effectively heal another cat and Flyingcolor's herself had just given birth to a rather large litter of kits and needed her apprentice's help even more than before. She knew it would take time and she believed in her apprentice, but she wanted to help to apprentice feel the same way about herself. "What herbs do we need for a traveling poultice?" She asked, ensuring that her apprentice could see her lips and her body language so she would understand
Vixenpaw knew that she knew the answer - she knew exactly what went into traveling herbs - since it was one of the first things she'd learned as an apprentice.
"Daisy leaves, Chamomile, Burnet, and...." she knew she was forgetting a herb. The deaf she-cat's ears flattened as she sorted through the herbs and their uses in her head. "Sorrel." she finally added, her ears still flat.
She was probably wrong, but she did remember that there were at least four herbs that went into the mixture.
