She breathed in the fresh air of FallClan. She did it. She made it to FallClan, now it was time to find Thrushstar!
Funny how their leaves weren't made up of scarlets, auburns, and tangerines, but instead were glorious greens and murky grey leaves. She chocked it up to being the strange weather that had been going on lately and continued on. Glowstar sashayed down the thick tree lines. Her slow seductive steps were as breath taking and powerful as comets. She was mixed, that much could be figured out by her looks alone. Her stature was tall and her form hourglass shaped. She had glossy fur like a WaterClan warrior. Her muscle toned body perfectly crafted to league standards. But perhaps the most defining feature, the one that said she was Glowstar beyond the masses of auburn colored cats out there was the glow. Her fur was an ocean of wild auburn cinnamon waves kissing up against the shores of her auburn bombshell coat. There was gilded stardust hues at the tips of her fur giving off a glowing aura about her. Her emerald gaze shinned like star fire that edged between burning out and transforming into wildfires.
Her ears pricked at the sound of someone coming, "Is that, Thrushstar Charisma Radiance that I hear?"
She was royalty. She wasn't meant to be out here without a wall of escorts at every angle. Yet she couldn't continue to be cooped up in the maze of BrookClan's camp. Despite the mask she wore in front of those beneath her – the common folk that depended on her lead, although... she was doing more harm than good – she wasn't the arrogant, cold, manipulative, hateful she-cat she portrayed herself to be. Underneath it all, she was still a young feline; if this were any other life, any other world where she wasn't thrust into power so young, perhaps she'd still be training with her mentor. Maybe she'd be nearing her promotion to a voiny. But life could never be that sweet or ideal. The black she-cat sighed, lowering her head and staring down at her paws as she shuffled them through the greening undergrowth, her fresh crown of wolfsbane and nightshade woven perfectly atop her head, accentuating her shadow and giving off an air of authority. One she didn't particularly want.
Catching a peculiar scent on the wind, however, she found herself frowning, all signs of innocence and sadness leaving her at once. Intruder. Bristling, she grew to a trot, bursting from the bushes and stopping in front of the auburn she-cat. She clenched her jaw. She'd only seen the feline once, but had heard enough about her. DayClan. Glowstar. One of three reasons her mother was no longer here. Her claws dug into the earth.
"Get out. You're intruding. Get out." An anger was bubbling up inside her, threatening to explode from her mouth. Hot tears stung at the corners of her eyes. How she wanted to hurt this cat. Make her feel pain. Make her lose life after life just as Tasman had. She had never been close to her mother, not in the way that most young ones should. But she was her birth mother; she was the reason she had this position in the Monarchy, was the reason for everything in her life.
On second thought, a voice whispered deep within, perhaps we should be glad she's gone.
Huh. Not Thrushstar Charisms Radiance. In fact this was the Tsar of BrookClan lead by... she forgot who. Which meant once again this was the wrong clan. Her ears folded back hearing the she-cat yell. Heh, she’s hate to be that person. Glowstar looked behind her and found a black squirrel staring her and the Tsar down. She understood perfectly, this squirrel was a menace to society. It dared mock that inability to climb trees as efficiently as them. It spit at them like ants and this squirrel were their God. The tyranny ended now.
“I’ll take care of this your majesty,” Glowstar promised her as she backed up and turned on the squirrel. The squirrel squinted it’s beady eyes at her. He was ready, a darkness swirled deep inside the squirrels from years of oppression. For as long as squirrels were squirrels they were bullied into hiding their nuts, their young, and even themselves away. Glowstar bit her lip, no matter. She’d fight this squirrel for the Tsars honor!
“Oh hey wait... Were you talking to me?” Glowstar asked, suddenly putting together that leaders typically didn’t request for prey to be executed or start yelling at them with tears in their eyes.
She couldn't help herself; usually always stoic and pulled together, the tsar's expression had quickly gone from irritation and 'i'm-going-to-claw-your-face-off' to raised eyebrows, a horrified gaze, and her mouth agape. She couldn't be serious. Right? Then again, she'd heard quite a bit about Glowstar. The she-cat was an airhead. She found herself often doubting if the DayClan leader even had any common sense – or battle prowess – but in all honesty, she was too preoccupied with the shenanigans occurring within her own lands to follow through on any experiments. Kellen, for example, was a particularly sharp and annoying thorn in her side.
"You have absolutely no self preservation, do you?" She'd lifted herself from her crouch and was instead standing and staring at the other in what looked to be disappointment mixed with annoyance.
"None," Glowstar's smile widened when she said it, shifting into that genuine, contagious grin, "But like, who would want to live fearing death or pain? I love pain! It's why I gave away all eight of my lives the moment I got them. How much of a moron does StarClan think us leaders are, giving us eight extra lives? I don't know, maybe they're right, leaders do seem to use them all up, heck even I died once, but maybe in a weird way my lack of self preservation is what keeps me alive more than any other leader in history."
Her tail swished to the side, not like fire, but like sunlight dancing across water, "I'm Glowstar, leader of DayClan," She said bowing her head to Tsar Loki before swiftly lifting her head up, her starry emerald eyes staring excitedly into Loki's, "What's your name?"
