Cat name & bio : Shae | Brown furs line her pelt, except when they are not brown. In some places, they become russet, red flames licking her otherwise dark pelt. They are random and sporadic, though. Most of her fur, then, is just a brown tabby. Unimportant and average, even though her pelt is slightly furrier than the normal. Her fur, though, doesn't add a particular beauty to her. Nor do her eyes, although their strange, almost-white blue shade is more offsetting than anything. They are unnerving to look into, like the first notes of ice on a puddle of water. Even then, though, she is average from a distance. From a length, she fits in physically as someone that is so incredibly average. And she likes that. But, if you come any closer to her, you will notice something that marks her apart from the crowd. Burned into her flesh are scars, permanent reminders of what happens when you play with fire. Literal burns mark under her left eye and while also splitting the furs of her front legs and paws. The older she gets, the more the fur seems to come in and hide them, but they are still there. If you look hard enough, they will always be there. A reminder of her fascination with fire, one she's had since her youth. Enough about her looks, though. Shae isn't all looks. She isn't all personality, either, though. Especially on the surface. On the surface, she is just as painfully average as her looks. She takes pride in the fact that she can fit in so easily. Well, maybe pride isn't the right word. She enjoys fitting more than anything else. To her, it is a game. Fit into the masses, so that one day, when you stand out, you will stand out further than they have ever expected. She likes to fit in. But, you never know the psychopath sitting next to you, you never know the murderer sitting next to you. And with her, it is particularly true. You don't see her as anything but normal, but inside? She likes to watch the world burn, both in a physical and mental way. She looks perfectly contained to someone who has no relationship with her, but once you gain her trust she is a little less moral, a little less normal. She is twisted in a way that isn't mentally ill, but rather just unfortunately dark. A masochist, really. Someone who wants to see the world hurt. Getting to there is hard, though. She seems to smell out weakness, and if she deems you not worth her time, she won't waste it on you. You see, her kiss of death, her desire to see the world burn, it only manifests when she is around cats that are worth its manifestation. Because of that, she is incredibly two-faced. One face a sheep, just wanting to fit in.The other a wolf, ready to unleash its instincts and go for the kill. She's tough to all hell, but you wouldn't see that if she didn't want to show it. Get her in the right mood, though, and she is an attack dog. But not your average, who goes for harsh bites. You see, although she is physically tough, physical strength is not a particular strength in her. Instead, her kiss of death comes in the form of manipulation. Of verbal torture. She is oh so good at finding a cats weakness and capitalizing on it. Emotional abuse, they say, is just as bad, if not worse than physical. A few claw strikes can always be healed, but can the wounds left by words heal so easily? She likes to think not. Truth be told, she'd lose most physical fights if she was to rely on her physical ability alone. There's something rather exciting to that, though. You see, she isn't as against pain as perhaps she should be. A twisted part of her enjoys the feeling of claws wripping through her. It reminds her of the fire that morphed her from a sheep to what she is.
