The air was humid from a recent rain, causing Thymebound's fur to seem to cling to him. He huffed in annoyance, wishing the weather would clear up and dry out already. They were of the earth, not the mud. Still, he couldn't deny the rain's beauty, the sound it made when it drummed on their den's or the rainbows it left in its wake. The warrior stood in the center of camp, stuck. He wanted to go out and hunt - the fresh-kill pile was getting low - but he also knew that there were some repairs needed on the dens after the last storm. Indecisiveness froze him, so the tom simply stood still and waited for a sign.

I mean, we're doing the plot where Thymebound is gonna befriend Seablossom and offer her some comfort, right? or did you want to plan it out in even further detail?
(Sorry I'm so forgetful lately with all the school stuff I've got going on. I couldn't remember if we talked about something further or not. We can plan further if you want to or just wing it, either's fine with me.)
Seablossom couldn't help her eyes darting back to the nursery every other second. She knew, knew the kits were still asleep at this early hour, but she still waited for one of them to start to leave the den or for another of the queens to stir. The deputy was stressed beyond belief, stuck between helping the clan, her sister, her little siblings, and getting Crownglass adjusted to life in EarthClan. It was too much for the average cat, let alone someone who didn't want to let any of those cats out of her sight for more than a second. It had all her fur on end as though she'd been struck by lightning in last night's storm. Across the camp she could see Ivorycrown leaving, probably to go out and hunt, or just to get away from Seablossom. No one could blame her. Seablossom was naturally a worried wart, but lately, it's gotten worse than ever.

{{ No worries! Just wanted to make sure we were on the same page! }}
Seeing his worried deputy spurred Thymebound into action. Snagging two finches from the fresh-kill pile, the warrior padded up to Seablossom's side and, making a point to clear his throat and announce his presence so he wouldn't startle her, sat down one of the small birds at her paws. "You look like you could do with some food in your belly," he mewed, voice naturally low. He seemed almost nonchalant, but anyone who knew Thymebound knew he didn't enter into conversations lightly. Something about the she-cat's worry seemed to call to his own.
"I suppose..." But did she have the time? There was so much to do. Patrols to organize, hunting and territorial; not to mention dealing with her family. Seablossom glanced once more towards where she'd caught the last sight of Ivorycrown. Maybe just for a few moments. "Thank you, Thymebound." She pulled the bird closer, positioning herself to where she could see both the nursery and the entrance.

"Of course," he mewed, plucking the feathers from his kill with brusque efficiency. The anxiety radiated off of Seablossom in waves, and Thymebound couldn't help but feel bad for his deputy. "So, what do you have planned for today?" He knew the expression that someone wore when they were overwhelmed - that blank-eyed, shallow breathing, panicked look - and found that making a list helped him to relax and make a plan of action.
"Far too much." Truthfully her list was small. Only a few patrols to organize for territory patrols and then smaller groups of cats for hunting patrols. Nothing that wouldn't take the few minutes it took to wake the cats get them out the door. Seablossom's main problem was that she was supposed to be in one of those hunting groups. Or needed to be, she didn't have to do anything considering she was classified currently as a queen in the nursery because of her little siblings. But if she didn't help what kind of deputy would she be?
