A young kitten woke to one of her favorite smells in the world. It wasn't prey or anything along those lines, but rather the smell of the air right before a thunderstorm. It was a smell that Levi'a-kedi only had recently come to recognize. She had always thought of the world as a frigid urban wasteland, and this new smell and warm air shattered her misconceptions. She welcomed it. The sweetness in the air visibly excited Levi'a-kedi to a tipping point. The kitten left the graveyard for the first time since her mother's disappearance more than a month ago, and now stood lost in the middle of the church.
Clover-kepa always strayed too far from her mentor when they were training. By this point, she figured that Rose had probably given up looking for her and just went home entirely. Meanwhile, Clover-kepa was exploring, finding every which way around the abandoned two-leg place the group called home. The petricore masked Levi'a-kedis scent from the tyro for a moment, taking her by surprise when ahe whisked around a corner and found a kitten she did not expect to see. Crouching for a moment, as if about to pounce on her prey, she beckoned the suckling to her. "Hey.. you alright over there?"
