Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Barrenfrost was the newly made prison guard of WinterClan. A tom who spent his entire apprenticeship swearing the father who left WinterClan would one day return and restore greatness to the clan. The same tom who bullied cats and claimed to someday give every WinterClan servants from all the clans, near and far. Perhaps he'd been seen as an idealist, an idiot for his irrational thoughts if he didn't actually go with every single plan that came to mind. It hadn't been long since he'd been made prison guard that he had taken many prisoners and made them his pets. Often commanding them to bark or eat the grass. He fed off humiliation and power and believed there was a greatness about him.
Barrenfrost's father wasn't Goldenstar, he was adopted, pitied. He came from a family that left his brother and sister at the border. But Barren believed he came from the heavens and was a God. A God meant to look after WinterClan because there was an ego he had been born with that couldn't wrap his mind around the thought that had been unwanted since birth so there had to be a greater purpose for himnself. Every cat that knew enough about Barrenfrost steered clear from him and he invited that fear. On this particular patrol Barrenfrost wanted to tag along with Leatherfern despite being a prison guard. Probably to find some more pets. Because he did attend Leatherfern's patrol everyone else had about left, not wanting to deal with him.

Leatherfern glanced up from the pesky patch of pelt sticking up on his chest. The deputy raised a brow over an emerald gaze. "SunClan's border has been a bit lacking in activity lately." He had been thinking over the border patrol since the night before. His motivation for bothering the light sun warmed border was more or less for a little gray cat he missed.
"I'm surprised you wanted to join me." he had grown up with the adopted family. Though he was a little bit older than them. He remembered guarding Hazethroat as she sat in her den nursing the kittens and waiting for her dreadful last day/
"Why wouldn't I? You're not annoying or smell weird," Barrenfrost commented, "Plus I'm hoping we can get some more prisoners. I've decided I want to test out cannibalism down there. Like if I don't feed them, will they do it? I'm super curious to find out and I think I could use one more prisoner for it."
