Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Ryn was an interesting kitten in SunClan. Not only because he was one of a few cats allowed to keep a rogue name, but also because of his heritage. He was heir to a rogue group that SunClan had made allies with, brought to the clan by Foxstar to be raised as her son until such a time as he was sent back to claim his destiny. It was both a way for him to learn to appreciate and bond with the group he served, as well as a way to keep his parents in line. They had other kits, but they would hardly cause problems enough to get him killed.
Well, now was an interesting time. Foxstar was gone, leaving the cute ebony tom-kit all on his own for a while. The other cats of the clan watched over him, but for the most part, it felt like he had free reign to do as he wished. He wasn't a troublesome cat, polite and respectful, with an authoritative heir and dangerous smile. Of course, sometimes he couldn't resist a bit of fun.
Which was exactly why he was looking for a partner in crime to join him on some fun antics for the day.
Lionpaw had only been recently promoted to the rank of apprentice, and it felt like everyone was to busy to even notice. His own mother was now left to take over leadership with Foxstar's disapperance, and his mentor had yet to even take him out training. For a cat used to being the center of attention he couldn't help but feel lonely and ignored. Even his sister hadn't spoken to him very much lately, throwing herself into her training.
The tom sighed, pushing away the last of his meal and pushing himself to his paws when he saw the young cat sitting by himself. He didn't really have anything better to do, so he made his way over "Hiya" he purred warmly, not really knowing who this cat was or his past "I'm Lionpaw, you must be new here"

The young tom turned to the older one, tilting his silky black head and offering a slight smile. He was a quiet cat, curious and malleable. Exactly the sort Foxstar wanted, though, with her disappearance, he was left to find purpose elsewhere for the moment. "Somewhat." Ryn replied, nodding slightly. His tone was different from the forest cats, the accent of the city leaking into his words, yet it wasn't so strong as to make him unintelligible. "Name's Ryn. What's yours?"
"The name is Lionpaw, it's a pleasure to meet ya Ryn" he replied with a goody grin, assuming that this was just another young cat who was seeking to become part of SunClan. It was common enough that he didn't really stop to consider that might not be the case.
"Ryn " he repeated humming the name. "Your name is short, I kind of like it. Much different than all of my friends" he purred "are you here all alone, or is your family coming to join SunClan as well?"
"Only me. My family sent me here, they're friends of Foxstar." Perhaps friend was a bit of an overstatement, but it was the simplest way to explain the arrangement. The Priestess had helped them once upon a time, and their family had sworn loyalty to her and her clan in turn. It was complicated, and as young as he was, he wasn't certain he had the full details as of yet. "I'll be going back to them eventually, when I'm older. But for now, I'm as much your clanmate as anyone else."
"Oh well any friend of Foxstar is a friend of mine!" he declared naievly. "I used to share a den with her and my mother and my sister, but now that I am an apprentice I had to move out to the apprentice den. Is your nest comfy enough? Mom always makes sure that I have a comfy nest, but I know sometimes some of the apprentice's don't do a good job making good nests"
