Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. Her mother had gotten herself captured. Lastaffair found the entire situation incredibly amusing. Of course, the tortoiseshell always had been a troublemaker who acted out against Foxstar's wishes, so perhaps it wasn't so surprising that she'd be wholly unaffected by the Priestess' disappearance. Maybe this would teach the fox-pelted feline to choose her battles more carefully.
It wasn't really her business to care what her mother did, though, and as such, she went about things as usual. Hunting, patrolling, generally just doing what she wanted. No one bothered her, and she didn't bother them either.
