Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It was rare to see Valleystar dwelling around the convicts, yet alone the trials, yet here she was, making her way down the slope of the alpine as she followed Jade's scent. It was fresh, and as a light rain began to fall down from the heavens and wetting Valleystar's calico white-and-grey pelt, she quickened her pace to make sure she didn't lose his trail. It was a dark evening, one where the stars and the moon was shrouded behind a heavy cover of clouds. Soon, thunder would begin to crack across the sky, lightning flashing and casting the land around her in a momentary light.
The rain began to fall harder, and Valleystar cursed softly under her breath as she lost Jade's scent. She knew he was nearby; he had to be. His scent was so strong that you could taste it in the air, but now with the rain pounding down around her, the only thing she could smell was rainwater and wet soil. "Jade?" The fluffy she-cat called out, her fur being weighed down by the water that had made itself welcome in it's strands. "Come out, come out, wherever you are~." She said in a sing-song voice, turning on her paws and coming face-to-face with the one she called. "Is the rain bothering you as well?"
Jade had relocated from his closer den as it was more exposed to the elements. Now he had found a lovely place in the hollow of a fallen pine tree. The nest he had made wasn't bad either. As one of the two trials, Jade was rather used to being on his own. So Valleystar making her way down here in the rain to see him was odd, to say the least. He stood up and stepped out of the hollow, his silver and black pelt was rather okay in the rain. His coat seemed almost water resistant, probably owing to his maine coon ancestry. Jade bit back a comment on how come if she was the Sovereign how dare the rain soak her, but decided he wanted to not only live but to continue living in WinterClan.
"Not really, but then again I am not standing in it." Jade couldn't help but sass her just a bit. However, he did step aside and motioned to the den he had found. It was more than large enough for both of them. It smelled of pine and moss, creating a sharp yet musty earth smell. It was much better than his previous dip in a rock wall bedding down mostly with his shedded winter coat and the little bit of moss he had been able to find in the winter. He was seriously debating moving here till he was promoted as it also had the added bonus of less foot traffic or so he had thought.
