Goldenkit lounged lazily in the sun outside the Nursery. The scents of newleaf hung in his nose and the sunlight warmed his fur. While most Nightclan cats loved the thrill of dark, he had started to appreciate the warmth of day. The young cat let out a sigh and rested his head on his paws. He allowed his eyes to close as the sound of birdsong and crickets filled his ears and began to lull him to sleep. Ah, what a beautiful day...
During their time in the clearing after losing their camp to the earthquake, NightClan cats were forced to be more and more active during the day. Though Stealthclaw found it to be a bit of a boon. During the day her kits were a lot easier to keep track of, and she noted Goldenkit relaxing in the sun.
She glanced around to make sure her other kits weren't making too much mischief before she went to sit beside her adopted son.
