Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
These kits are the children of the Soothsayer promised Twilightbell and a MoonClan tom by the name of Heartpaw. He is going to go through the initiation process of SunClan, but these two didn't really know each other very well when they had tykes. Their relationship is a little complicated at the moment but both love these kits. This was pretty much a teenage pregnancy situation where neither party thought things through clearly. They are going to try to make a relationship work though.

It had been a very long night for Twilightbell. Her kitting had begun late the night before and had lasted through the early morning. She still wasn't sure how Foxstar truly felt about the truth of their father, but she had thought it best to tell her before the kits were born and to admit her mistake before she found out on her own. Thankfully an arrangement had been made to allow Heartpaw to transition to SunClan even though he had been born in MoonClan. It had been a stressful time for her when she should have been resting and preparing for the birth of her kits.
While she had yet to consult Pond on the matter, she had already chosen names for their kits. She had never been one to wait on such things and she had assumed it wouldn't be that big of a deal since the names she chose were perfect in every way for her six little ones. She was completely exhausted by this point though. She hadn't gotten any sleep at all the night before and she would probably be up for a while yet caring for her newborns.
Heartpaw, or, Pond rather, was the first to be there once Twilightbell had finished kitting. It felt odd to think of himself as a father, for reasons more than just his own youth. That was yet another thing the Promised didn't know about him, he supposed. They didn't know a lot about each other, in fact. The two had agreed to work things out between them, but in so many ways, they were worlds apart. There was one thing they did have in common, however, and that was the love they shared for their kits.
He slipped into the den awkwardly, having been sitting, waiting, outside for much of the kitting. He hadn't wanted to intrude, though he hadn't wanted to just leave her alone either. "How are you feeling?" Pond questioned, glancing between her and the kits, a hesitant smile written across his features. The Initiate was tired, yet he was sure it wasn't half so much as Twilightbell. "Did you need anything?"
Twilightbell lifted her gaze from her kits when she heard Pond. It was odd to think that the two of them were parents. She hardly knew anything about him, but that had hardly seemed to matter when they were meeting in the secrecy of the moonlight. Now six tiny lifeforms had made their already complicated relationship much more strained. They would have to figure out what was right for them and for their kits all while figuring out what they really wanted.
"I'm tired, but I'm alright otherwise." Twilightbell's jaws parted in a yawn, the first of many to come. "I could do with a nice juicy rabbit or really anything at this point. I'm starving." It was odd, but she had always been a big eater. "I gave them names by the way. Solarkit, Incandescentkit, Dawnkit, Radiantkit, Shiningkit, and Morningkit." She actually smiled. It was a tired smile, but it was a smile all the same. "I've been told that Morningkit looks just like my mother did. I would really like her name to be Morningberry because of that." Of course the subject of her mother had never really came up. She hadn't told him much of anything about herself other than the fact that she had poor eyesight and that she was the soothsayer promised.
Littlebird slowly entered in the nursery where the new mother and her kits had been taken. Twilightbell had given birth while she had been out planning a way to get Foxstar back into the safety of the clan. Upon her return, the Janus were quick to inform her of the birthing, assuring her that all was well. To ease her mind, she stopped by to check on them "Twilightbell" she called softly, not wanting to startle the two new parents.
Her ears pricked at the sound of Littlebird's voice. She turned her head towards the sound even though she knew the other she cat would be too far away for her to see her properly. "Littlebird, hello." She dipped her head respectfully to the Priestess. She was honestly glad to see her since it would make this entire situation a little less awkward. She knew things had been rocky between her and Pond since he learned the truth of her position and kits had only made matters worse. She would have to sort things out with him of course, but she would rather do so when she was more awake than she was now.
Hearing the she-cat's voice, Littlebird slowly entered into the den. "Hello, I heard that you had given birth while I was out. I wanted to check you and the kits myself to make sure that everything is going well" he purred lightly seeing the little bundles moving around at her side. Kits were always good news in SunClan, even though they had come from a strange situation. She sat down, and waited on Twilightbell's answer, while her eyes were already scanning the new leader.

Pond awkwardly shuffled to the side, offering a hesitant smile to Littlebird as she arrived. He wasn't quite sure of the Promised's feelings about him, and though he expected her to be kinder than Foxstar, he truly couldn't be certain. After all, he'd been raised with it ingrained into his mind just how terrible these cats were. Though some aspects had been proven wrong, others had been proven all too right, and he could never be sure where a specific cat fell on the spectrum until actually speaking with them for more than a few moments. "They're beautiful names." He answered Twilightbell. They were, and fitting for the clan as well, he noted.
(uniqcrim sorry it took me so long to get back to this.! He's yours if you are still interested.)
"So far everything seems fine. The kits all seem healthy and they are eating as they should. It was difficult and I'm a little tired, but other than that we are all alright." Ok so tired was an understatement. She was exhausted and starving on to of that, but after what she knew had to be a scandal had come to light, she had no intentions of causing an even bigger fuss in front of the priestess promised, especially when she was temporarily taking Foxstar's place until they could rescue her from the Regime. She glanced back over at Pond for a moment and offered a weak smile. "And thank you for giving Pond a chance." It had been a lot for her to ask when she had betrayed SunClan like she had, but she had stuck her neck out for him. He was the father of her kits and while she didn't know him as well as she should have for these little ones to exist, she knew he wasn't inherently bad.

"Why don't I go get you that prey?" Pond replied, nodding to Littlebird and slipping out of the den. They could talk again in a moment, it was about time the two Promised talked between themselves. He had freshkill pile to search through.
Littlebird nodded, waiting until the tom had left the den to speak more. "It was Foxstar who decided to give him a chance, although I fear the hard part is only begining for the two of you" she nosed the kits carefully, and they all seemed to be doing well enough.
"It won't be easy for him to leave everything he knew to come to SunClan, on top of trying to be a father to a litter of newborns" that is partly why she had stopped her relationship with Leatherstar, although the two cats were in slightly different situations. Leatherstar had been the leader of WinterClan at the time, and his clan needed him more than she needed him. In her heart she knew that he would have dropped everything to be with her, but she couldn't let that happen. She had tried to break his heart to keep him away, and even then he returned again and again.
(I will take on Shiningkit for now but if anyone else is interested in him please let me know!)
"I know...MoonClan is so different than us. Until recently Heartpaw didn't even understand what I am being trained to do as the Soothsayer Promised." She was troubled. She did care for Pond despite all of her doubts and worries. She knew that this was a huge step for him. He wouldn't be able to go back to MoonClan now that he had abandoned them for SunClan. She wasn't sure what the punishment for traitors was in MoonClan but she doubted it was a pleasant one. She doubted SunClan was all that happy with her either. She knew her kits would not be blamed because SunClan always treated kits well, but she knew that she would be judged for her choices and she would have to be very careful from now on as she worked to regain her clanmates' trust.
"The fact that he is here speaks volumes about his character" Littlebird often wondered what would have happened had Leatherstar abandonded his clan to join her... "It takes a cat of great courage and resolve to leave everything they once knew behind to join a group this foreign. The Sun God will see what is truly in his heart when the time comes. He doesn't have to be perfect, only have the right intentions"
"He will learn our ways with a little bit of time and patience. He has give up a lot to be with you and your litter, so we will give him the support he needs to succeed"
