Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Emberburn was slipping silently through MoonClan's territory, he wasn't hunting and he wasn't patrolling at the moment, he was simply enjoying some quiet time to himself. Most of his kin were busy with their own lives at the moment and he felt like he simply just kind of existed currently. Normally he took any chance he had with any free time and caused trouble but lately he seemed to grow bored of his old antics. His gaze drifted to the NightClan border, the old Emberburn would have just strolled right over the border, taking the chance and seeing what trouble he could find. A patch of bushes to his left suddenly caught his attention and he snapped his gaze onto the bush. "Whose there?" he demanded before realizing it was a familiar Clan scent and he suddenly felt embarrassed that he'd been taken by surprise so easily.
Auroralights had been out hunting, or at least she was going to use the excuse of being hunting if anybody asked her what she was doing, when she stumbled across Emberburn. She'd been doing much the same as Emberburn, wandering the territory simply to get out of camp and away from those who didn't like looking at her scarred face.
The small, heavily disfigured tortoiseshell she-cat stepped out from the undergrowth when Emberburn called out asking who was nearby. "Hello." she greeted the tom cheerfully.
"Hello, Auroralights." Emberburn returned her cheerful greeting, forcing his fur to lie flat, attempting to hide the fact that he'd been startled when he heard her in the undergrowth. "Enjoying the evening?" he asked her. It had been warming up recently, leaf bare finally releasing its grasp on the forest.
"That's the one good thing about new leaf, I can leave the camp and return empty pawed and not feel guilty!" Emberburn replied with a small laugh. "Sometimes it's nice to not be hunting or patrolling." he said with a small shrug.
"You can't always come back empty pawed because then it'll look bad on your part but there is a better excuse for doing so this time of year." Auroralights agreed.
"Oh, of course not! I already caught a squirrel and a few mice earlier on though, so if anyone asks, I did my part!" He said half jokingly, he was sure no one wouldn't actually ask. At this point most were too busy going on with their own lives to care that Emberburn was out doing whatever Emberburn wanted to do.
