Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Pacing steps carried her back and forth outside the nursery, the she-cat debating her next actions. Wondering if she was really taking the right path in this, knowing if she changed her mind this moment would mean no turning back. She would be unable to change who raised them in the end if she stepped away as their mother, they would never see her as anything other than an aunt. And while in this moment it was what she preferred would it continue to be that way later down the line.
Taking a deep breath she poked her head into the leaders den calling for her sister. Desperately hoping she was in. Her perfect sister, the shining star when they were growing up. Valleystar would never make such a large mistake like this, she could already hear the words in her head. Marshflower just hoped her sister would not outwardly judge her for it, or judge her for the request she was going to make of her.
It was rare you saw Valleystar outside of her den, let alone outside of camp. She had soldiers to do her work for her, and she felt more comfortable here at home than anywhere else. Here, she could keep a watchful eye over the members of her Clan, and burn their antics into her memory forever. She was obsessed with the knowledge of her clanmates, having an itching urge to know everything and anything there is. It was a fault of Valleystar, truly, some may say even illness of the mind; she didn't care.
Upon hearing her sister's voice, Valleystar's head turned, and she caught sight of Marshflower standing awkwardly in the opening of her den. A browbone had raised, and slowly but surely, the she-cat rose from her bed. She stood tall and proud, always being the largest of the siblings besides Thistlescar; she stood 12'' at the shoulder. "What is it, dear?" Valleystar had spoken in a sing-song voice, coming to close in on Marshflower.
