Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Problematic, that's what it was. He sat with a furrowed expression, his agitation as sharp and obvious as the collecting storm above. He watched the clouds swirl in an angry mixture, thunder rumbling just above him, causing his whiskers to tremble. He quickly moved forward, scraping a hole in the earth to bury his bird, before turning quickly and breaking into a full run. There was a hollow tree, not too far. However he didn't reach it quite in time. His white pelt would soon be stained silvery, clinging to his body uncomfortably as the first patter of rain could be heard. And then, as if a sudden curtain had drew itself back, the sky broke. Water flew down upon him, drenching him to the bone.
It was luck as Wolfconstellation dove into the makeshift shelter, the tree trunk hollowed out perfectly and offering protection from further soaking. Shuddering, he pressed himself deeper into the surprisingly spacious trunk. A previous fox or badger den, perhaps. The earth was even scooped out to form a makeshift tunnel, ending in a nice little curve as you would investigate deeper down. Though it seemed to have been a home for a predator, the scents were extremely faint and stale. Relieved, he allowed himself to relax against the earth and watch rain splatter against the undergrowth.

It started out to be a nice day but the clouds seemed to come in quickly. Pantherclaw added a mouse to the catch she already had made between two small bushes. That makes three altogether, she thought as the first drops of rain hit her black pelt. Quickly covering her prey with loose dirt, she knew instinctively she had to find shelter until this storm passed. Then remembering the hollow log was nearby, she hurried to it and crawled inside but not before her fur was slicked down from the rain. Suddenly she heard a sound and was startled by it but a strong SummerClan odor reassured her that it wasn't a fox she had heard but a clanmate instead. "Who's there?" she asked as since her eyes hadn't quite adjusted yet to the log's darkness.

"Wait for me! Wait for me!" A voice piped up nearby and Cabbagepaw dove in after Pantherclaw. The young apprentice had been out hunting with Brackenpaw and Cloudyday, but somehow got separated from the two when it started storming. Luckily she was just small enough to squeeze into the hollowed out log beside the two warriors. She shivered as the cold rain seeped through her pelt and chilled her muscles.

Pantherclaw moved to one side to make a little more room for the apprentice. "That storm came up quickly, didn't it?" she commented. "I hope it doesn't last too long because I don't know how many more cats this log can hold."
