Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Raiser Superior Lark supposed her secret was out now. Not that it was particularly shameful, but she felt singled out with the congratulations she was getting. Becoming a Superior and next in line for Chaman was one thing, but publicly sharing news of becoming the mate of a former Commander's son, Reisi, was another. And now the news of their expected litter of tykes was circulating as well. Lark found herself hunkered down in Post Kilo, sorting herbs to avoid too much attention. But she eventually had to take a walk to clear her mind, and was wandering the tunnels now.
"How are you holding up?" Raiser Jasmine had come up beside Superior Lark as well with a kind smile at her face. Like her superior, she had recently announced that she was expecting tykes. Thankfully she wasn't receiving all of the extra attention that she was, but she could understand how it could be stressing. She had honestly stepped away to get a bit of peace and quiet. Post Kilo was overflowing with tykes at the moment so this was truly the only way she could get a bit of quiet time.
"I'm good." Lark smiled gently at Jasmine, familiarity in her gaze. "Thank you. I suppose we're in the same boat- How are you doing?" The small calico sat, draping her tail over her front paws. It was nice to speak with someone, to get her mind off her pregnancy, which scared her so thoroughly.
"I'm doing alright. I haven't been out to see Ante here recently though. He tends to stay busy and I honestly miss watching him train." Her mate had recently been made into a sentinel by her father which meant he was a bit busier than he had been before. It was a great honor to be made a sentinel though so she was proud of him.
"I can imagine he has more on his plate now." Lark smiled sympathetically, understanding how she felt. "I need to get out of Post Kilo for a bit- I could walk you over to see him, if you'd like. I need to get more exercise than I do anyhow."
"That sounds like a good idea. It would be a nice break. Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen so many tykes in Post Kilo at once." With Venus and Momi's litter, Post Kilo was pretty crowded now and then when she and Lark had their litters she wasn't sure if they would even be able to fit everyone in the post comfortably. She was happy though. It meant that the Regime was growing despite SunClan's efforts to destroy them.
"Me neither." Lark laughed, glancing back over her shoulder at the entrance to the Post, then sank into a stretch before starting off. "Is he in Headquarters?" She asked as they reached a branch in the tunnel, trying to figure out which way to go.
"Most likely. Commander Mars has been staying in headquarters a lot here recently. The war with SunClan is getting heated and now we have Foxstar as a prisoner." She didn't want to think about it all too much. It was unsettling and she would prefer to look after herself and her tykes instead of worrying over things she couldn't change. She turned to take the left branch of the tunnel since that would be the one that led to the surface. "What about Reisi? Does he come to visit you often?" Jasmine had actually grown up with Reisi. They were still good friends even after everything that had happened with Almast. He seemed happier with Lark so she was hoping that he actually visited her like he should.
