Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Please tryout if you're interested in joining the administration team ! This is for offsite administrator. This is not the role that I held before I became communications administrator, so please note this! I will be selecting one or two tryouts from this thread, and the other admins will either select from my top two or confirm my decision. If someone tries out and you think that I should particularly consider them, please feel free to message me on skype and explain why. : )
OFFSITE ADMINISTRATOR JOBS:
Open the Revamp Site and keep it updated. This requires some site building
Start an affiliate and advertising system and manage it.
Hold revamp competitions and encourage participation in the Revamp Site
Understand basic coding or be willing to learn basic coding to keep up with the management of the revamp site
Participate in all moderator and administration discussions actively.
NOTE: If your tryout is not reasonably finished by 4/30/19 at 11:59pm, you will not be considered for Offsite Administrator.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE ADMIN: i've always really enjoyed helping others and i have previous administration experience on multiple sites, so it's a role i'm familiar with and very comfortable to be in. i really enjoy the work that comes along with being an administrator and the responsibility.

DO YOU HAVE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: yes, quite a bit actually so i'm really only going to list the major ones. i was the creator and administrator of Haunting Rhapsody back on Wikifoundry, i was the administrator on Fear the Unknown back on Wikifoundry, i am the creator and administrator of Multiplicity (which i hope to share with everyone very soon!), i have been an administrator on Warriors Forest on Proboards back when it was active, and i've had a smattering of administration roles on other sites that were turned aside for bigger ideas or were lost in the Wikifoundry Crash. also if it's of any relevance, i also have IRL (in real life) experience with social networking, marketing and website development from two jobs that i've had.

HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU WITH CODE: Decently comfortable. I've modified layouts on this site in HTML and BBCode over the last few months, and I'm an expert googler c: Anything I don't know, I'm definitely willing to learn. I came on this site knowing nothing about coding and I have fixed the PI page multiple times (I was the one who screwed it up once or twice, but this proves I can learn and improve my coding in a short amount of time haha).
IDEA(S) FOR OFFSITE MANAGER: Work out a reward system for participating in revamp competitions, update Starclan/DF pages, and similar things. Coding tutorials, because those helped me a lot. Character profile templates that are free for use, and instructions on how to use them. I know this isn't very detailed but I usually get ideas as I go, and I'm positive more would come to me if I were to take on the workload of Offsite Admin and really understand the full depth of what needs to be worked on. I think what everyone has said is valid and should be taken into consideration by whoever gets the position.
ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW: I am studying abroad in France this summer, but my schedule should be very consistent (though I may be on when it's like 4 am EST, I will still be on c:)
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE ADMIN: I love this site and I want to see it flourish. I thrive when I'm given responsibility, and I have always wanted to improve WCC2 and be an aid in any way that I can.
WHAT CAN YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
1) Reliability- I am consistently active and meet the requirements that I'm given. As long as I know what's expected of me I will finish whatever needs to be done. 2) Consistency- I don't disappear without warning, I'm on at regular times and have a set schedule for managing PI. 3) Organization- I am a very regimented person and I get things done on time without overloading myself. I set realistic goals and work to complete them. 4) Adaptability- I made the transition from PI Warden to Nemesis quickly, and can do the same as an Administrator. I am flexible and willing to learn and admit my shortcomings, and I work well with others.
THREE QUALITIES THAT WILL MAKE YOU A GOOD ADMIN: Flexible, structured, open to criticism
DO YOU HAVE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Not as an administrator, no, but I have been moderator several times on this site and others. I've been on this site since 2010 fairly consistently, and I've led clans and help revamp competitions, among other things. I know how to do things in an orderly and efficient fashion, which should make a transition to Administrator easier.

God I hate this question We could do book/series reviews, character reviews, and other things related to warriors on YouTube (with the beginning "brought to you by ____ of WCC2"). And we could do short, maybe 5 minute videos, of the history of the site / clans (past and present) ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW: I am familiar with other sites affiliate programs

I also check my skype and messages daily. I can respond to a few important threads and such through out the week, but a majority of my activity is on the weekend.(I am a teacher so... ) HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU WITH CODE: I am still learning about code. I understand a lot of the basics, and can edit current layouts pretty easily. I have been experimenting with making my own layouts, and learning some more advanced coding from Cleaver. I am not going to lie and say that I am the best at coding, but I am willing to learn. IDEA(S) FOR OFFSITE MANAGER: So I have a lot of ideas for the revamp site to make it more exciting
Detailed Clan History Pages - I really want to go back and create a more detailed clan history pages. A lot of the clans only have clan leaders, deputies, mc, and mcas listed, but this doesn't really tell the whole story of the clan. What was the clan like under each leader? What important events happened? What did the Clan believe in? What did the leader acomplish? We may not be able to go back to the very beginning, but we have a great opportunity to start recording this sort of information since the move from wikifoundry. The idea is based off the White Book from Game Of Thrones
Revamp Contests - I want to encourage more participation in the revamp contests by giving out awards to the winners(similar to OTM), a point system for participating, and creating more communication about what the clan leader is looking for
How To --- Coding Guide: I want to create a more detailed coding guide for people. I want it to break down how do certain things such as adding a box, picture, changing fonts, ext. It should cover things from the basics to more advanced features that you can add into your layouts. I feel like I might be a good person to create this, because I am new to coding myself. I want to make it wasy to understand, so that even beginners can start to create some simple layouts. It would also be nice to have a team of people that are more familiar with coding that are willing to step in and help people when needed.
Pre-made Character Templates - Posting Templates: Ideally there will be a place for people to post their pre-made character templates and post templates for other people on WCC2 to use. This would make the main WCC2 site less messy, while still allowing others to easily access all of the codes in one place. We could also do contests for these templates, and have site members vote on the template that they most enjoyed.
Reaching Out To Other proboard warrior cats sites - We have a lot to learn from other warrior proboard sites. Even though WCC2 has been around a long time, we have not been on proboards for all that long. I have been doing a lot of reasearch into other popular warrior cats sites on proboards, looking at how they have their websites set up, their ideas, ext. I think it would be neat to see if any of the other warrior sites might be interested in doing a cross-site rp. Perhaps a clan from their site discovers one of ours, and their is conflict or friendships. Really the possibilities are endless, and I feel like it could bring in a lot of new members to the site along with an increase in activity. We could create one thread on their site, and one thread on our site to help out both places.
Youtube videos - we have talked for years about creating a WCC2 youtube channel, but I have some friends that have some experience with making videos. I feel like it would be a great place to get some new members. I think it would be interesting to do a video about each clan, since they have all become so unique. These videos could also help explain some of the clan's beliefs, ideals, ceremonies, ext. I would work closely with the leader of each clan to create these videos so that it accurately represents each clan/group. We could also feature art made by the members of WCC2 in these videos, allowing everyone to submit drawings/paintings/digital pictures/ext to be used. Members of the clan could also submit videos about their character's story, current clan plots, ext.
ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW: I'm not sure that I am the right person for this position. I am still learning about coding, and I don't want to take it from someone who might be able to do a better job than myself. However, I am going to tryout any way so that if the current admins believe that I am the right person that I can be choosen.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE ADMIN: I have always looked up to the WCC2 admins. They do so much for the site, and I feel like I am in a position to give back finally.I have been around WCC2 for a long time, and have taken on several leadership roles but never an admin position. This is a great opportunity for me to help the site as a whole, instead of a single clan. WHAT CAN YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: Experience, I have been roleplaying for many years. I first started in 2007, and quickly began running my own warrior cat site. I have seen many sites come and go, and have learned a lot about what works and what doesn't. I also feel like I have personal connections with many members across the site, and have a good idea of what they would like to see happen around the site. I want to be a voice for people that might be to afraid to speak up, or to shy to share their ideas.
