But Thistlebriar was quicker, the tom darting in and throwing himself into the two apprentices throwing them clear just as the rock crashed down on him and crushed him with a sickening crunch able to be heard. Soaringbird forced to skid to a halt almost smacking her muzzle into the rock as it came to rest on the ground, the she cat's blue eyes wide with horror. -- Jetclaw (It's not technically a quote but it was an act of heroism and I loved it!)
