Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
I think there's always a genre or a character type that we all suck at.
I suck at romantic roleplays and I used to really struggle with the bully character type. Right now I'm struggling to create a character that is good. Not neutral, semi-evil, or anti-hero. Like just good xD
So I'm gonna pass the question, what are the genres and character types you struggle with?
honestly i’m in the same boat with you, @faith, when it comes to characters x”D once upon a time i struggled to understand what a dysfunctional or evil character was, now it seems to be the only thing i can play. o.e i miss playing the simple lawful good characters, but like... it’s so hard anymore. how to? i need a guide.
yeah i can’t handle an evil character tbh or like... a powerful/intimidating one?
also, fight scenes? i am just terrible at fight scenes so if my character is supposed to be a good fighter i just avoid making them actually fight anyone to prove it oops otherwise i just assume my cats are the weaker opponent and get their butts kicked to cover for the fact i don’t know how to win a fight to begin with
occasionally i get a good romance but for the most part when my characters are supposed to be in love they act platonically or super cliche oops i just don’t know what counts as romantic
oh and kits. if they’re under two moons i can handle that, or right about apprenticed, but other than that? nah fam i don’t know how or when to use toddler speech met a baby i have not

oh man that's one thing I love: fight scenes. I get into it big time x"D
I do struggle with romance but I think it's mostly because I just really suck at flirting so I don't know how to make my character do it? LOL but I've come to find that slow burn romances, where they connect just naturally, is the best option for me. or already established couples because then the hard part's out of the way.
LOL yeah tbh I never considered that with kits like. I think I've always played kits as either silent and snuffling around uselessly when they're first born or when they're around 4 moons, I don't think I've ever played out a kit's actual like. childhood from birth until 6 moons without doing a time skip. I don't really know what they could do up until that point?
