Pressing through the bracken, Aurorasnake carried his catch back to the camp. The smell of prey filled his nostrils and caused his belly to rumble, but he knew the clan must be fed first. Birds whistled in the sky songs of joy as the sun shone brightly overhead. The morning dew had evaporated away, leaving fresh scents of grass and newly blossomed flowers. The sights and smells of the territory brought with them a buzz of energy which made hunting a breeze that morning. Were things beginning to look up for the clan? Honestly, he was not sure. With the dreams that haunted the Summerclan cats and screams of terror that burst out randomly, it seemed like all the clan was on edge. Aurorasnake had been lucky so far not to catch whatever this sickness was, but he feared it would soon clamp it's nasty jaws on him soon.
