Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Fawnheart had been chosen to lead a hunting patrol. She stood at the exit to camp, nearly shaking in her paws. She had only recently joined Fallclan from being Springclan's previous medicine cat. This was way out of her comfort zone but she knew better than to question Thrushstar about warrior duties since now she was considered a Fallclan warrior. She wasn't very good at hunting and Foxfoot was still showing her the ropes. She warmed under her pelt in embarrassment as she remembered her last hunting trip with him and how she went on a wild goose chase after a vole. Being a medicine cat, she never had to worry about hunting. Her duties were to heal the clan and search for herbs. She had never gone hunting since before she joined Fallclan. She was thankful for Foxfoot to be training her on how to be a full pledged warrior. She felt like an apprentice all over again. Anxiety clawed at her as she thought about her attempt to catch something with two skilled Fallclan warriors watching her. Would she make a fool out of herself again today? She swallowed nervously and sent a silent prayer up in hopes that today would be a good hunting day.
She looked to the sky. It was a beautiful sunny day a part from some clouds moving in on the horizon. She guessed that it would end up raining later that day, giving them enough time to catch something before the prey went into hiding.
Wildhare bounced towards Fawnheart. "Hey there!" he said with excitement. He was so glad to get out of the camp on a day like this. "Are you ready to hunt?" he asked.
She gulped nervously before nodding, "Sure am!" she tried to sound excited but she felt sick with nerves and her voice shook a little bit. She hoped Wildhare didn't notice it. "Are you ready to hunt?"
