Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Twilightbell had temporarily left the Janus camp behind her to stay in the nursery while she awaited the birth of her kits. She had never expected to have kits this young and what's worse was that she had no tom that could readily step up and claim them. That was because her mate lived in MoonClan and she wasn't close enough to any toms that might stand in to help her out. That was fine though. She would do this on her own if she had to. She was strong and she had the Sun God on her side. Even if they were half MoonClan, she would be raising them to stay true to their SunClan heritage. It was the only way things would work out. But still...The nursery was a bit lonely in all honesty. She was getting tired of just laying about all day waiting for her kits to come.
Waterpaw enjoyed spending her time in the nursery. Not only did she have a new younger sister to play with, but the kits didn't seem to bother how different she was compared to other felines her age. When she came in this particular morning carrying hay for the kits and expecting queens, she spotted Twilightbell and dipped her head in greeting. "Good morning, Twilightbell. How are you feeling? Anxious for the litter?" Her tone was soft and kind as her eyes scanned the nursery. Most of its residents were sleeping as Waterpaw was as quiet as she could be.
The fluffy black she cat lifted her head when she heard Waterpaw's voice. A visitor? No. Waterpaw was probably here to visit her sister or something of that nature. But still, she didn't want to be rude so she offered her a smile. "Honestly I think I'm about to die of boredom! I'm so tired of laying about. There is so much work to do! I was supposed to lead a lesson with the Janus on my own soon, but now I'm stuck here." She sighed and shifted in the nest she had been given. Queens were treated like royalty in SunClan. She knew she couldn't complain, but she just couldn't take it. "I was thinking of going for a walk today actually. I need to stretch my legs for a bit before the kits are born."
"Would you mind some company? I could always go for a nice stroll." Waterpaws voice was almost identical to Risingshines. She lightly placed the hay down next to a sleeping queen and sat in front of the nursery entrance. "When are your kits due? Is it, like, okay for you to walk for a while?" She was a little awkward, twitching her tail in anxiety. Waterpaw was never the best with social encounters, and she really had no clue what was right or wrong to say to queens.
"I wouldn't mind at all!" While she wasn't used to sharing her walks with others, she supposed it wouldn't hurt to have a bit of company. She offered Waterpaw a friendly smile. "Well...they are due very soon but if I stay in the nursery another moment I am going to go insane." She was already making her way out of the nursery, giving her clanmate little time to think on the fact that she was due any day now. If she did she might try to keep her in the camp and that was honestly the last thing she wanted.
