Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. Sundapple sat grooming in a far corner of camp, taking joy in how the strengthening sunlight set fire to the golden specks in her fur. It was such a beautiful day for so early in the year that she couldn't help the purr rising in her throat. The freshkill pile was nice and full, and the dawn patrol had given her a chance to appreciate the bounty of their home. Only one thing could make this day better, she thought, blue eyes falling on a certain jet black pelt.

As if right on cue, Lupinepatch finally managed to remove that sliver in the top of his foot with a triumphant huff and he looked around to Sundapple looking at him. He had felt as if there were a pair of eyes on him and if anyone's, he was glad it was hers. It made his heart skip a beat to know that she had been looking at him and watching him while he was not particularly looking for attention. He sudden swelled with confidence and the sleek back tom stood up with his head held high and his chest puffed out to show off the beautiful iridescence of his pelt when the sunlight hit it just right. Then, with a grin, he bounded over besides her with excitement in his dark brown eyes. "Morning! It's so nice to have the sun out again." He purred in her presence.
She returned his purr gladly, trying to dispel the bees in her brain that so often accompanied his presence. "It really is! I didn't realize how much I'd missed it."

"I know! You remember how I told you how beautiful the waterfall is and how fun it is to hang out in green leaf?" He asked with a grin on his face. He was excited to show her his excellent swimming skills and hopefully have some fun.

"Would you like to go with me today? I thought it could be fun since it's really warm out and all the greenery has come back." He suddenly became a bit more shy and coy but his excitement still remained obvious.

"Awesome! Follow me then. If we get hungry then we can just catch a bunch of prey and eat a piece of it." He couldn't help but juggle his legs with excitement. Perhaps he looked like a fool in front of her but that was fine, he was just happy to spend time with the she-cat who he'd liked for so long.

He smiled at her and nodded before taking the lead out of camp and heading in the direction. He purred in the sunlight, pleased with the warmth it provided on his sleek black pelt. "It's so nice out today."

He nodded in agreement, leading the way to his spot. Once there, he stopped and displayed it to her proudly with a smile. It was a gorgeous sight with the running waterfall, the calm and clear water, and the greenery seemed to be alive and moving under the sun's rays. "What do you think?"

"You're probably right. Let's find out." He grinned, moving closer to the river bank. He stuck a single black paw in and stopped thoughtfully. "Hmmm... a little chilly but not too bad." He stepped in further until it came just above his belly fur. "It feels nice!" He called out to her, brown eyes sparkling.
