Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Guider Ellison was not someone that a cadet would want as a partner. He was odd and incredibly lazy. He had hardly got through his own training and now he was expected to train a Cadet? Mars must have completely lost his mind. Even now he was asleep on his back. He was supposed to be meeting Cadet Pices for training.
Cadet Pisces could definitely be considered an airhead. Like Ellison, she knew that she was supposed to be meeting Ellison... But she didn't remember what time. When the pale calico bounced her way across the Garden just by chance to find herself some hornbeam to study and bring to her sister, she saw the blue tom soundly snoozing away. She found a thick root in the ground below her and pulled it out, smiling as she looked back at Ellison. Pisces lightly poked at his hind, giggling, "Big brother Ellison~ Don't forget we have training today~"
Ellison opened one eye to look at his cadet. He supposed he was required to teach her something...What a pain. What if she didn't get it the first time? He hated repeating himself. Oh well. He knew he would get in trouble if he didn't teach her so he opened his other eye and rolled back over. "I didn't forget. You were taking your time so I decided to take a nap. This is my normal nap time you know." He let out a huge yawn as he said this as if to prove his point.
She giggled at him. "Yeah, yeah, I'm sure it is." Her voice was light as she ended with a smile from ear to ear. "Well I'm here now! And I'm ready~ What are we gonna do today~?" The cadet almost sang as she spoke.
What a bother...He did hope she could keep up. "We will be learning about the different herbs and their uses. That is the first step for anyone that wants to be a guider." That should be simple enough. He could set her to doing that and then return to his nap. "But first I suppose we should collect what we need." Now he felt like napping in the sun. He knew a good spot too. He would take her out to gather herbs and learn their uses on the way to his favorite nap spot.
Her golden eyes gleamed. "You mean, going up to the surface for herbs?" She bounced with excitement. "Okay~ Lead the way, big bro~!" Pisces sang as she bounced out of the garden and into the tunnels, towards the exit onto the surface above.
"Yeah...Something like that." She had so much energy, far more than he cared to exert. He supposed they should go now so he moved to lead the way through the tunnels. "Just be sure to stay close to me." He would be in a lot of trouble if he lost his cadet during their first training session. He could imagine that discussion now and he didn't think it was going to be a pleasant one.
Pisces giggled lightly. "Okay~ Where are we going first?" She asked. As they approached the surface and the sun began to flood the tunnels usual darkness, she felt her eyes strain as they adjusted to what was unnatural for the young molly- a bright sunny day. She squinted for a moment and blinked as her pupils dilated in the light.
"You'll see." He wasn't going to tell her that he was taking her to his favorite nap spot. He knew of some herbs that grew around there though so he could set her to work gathering them while he finished his nap. Well, that was unless a scout or a patrol found them and then he would have to think of some sort of excuse.
