Strangersweet was excited for the battle. The tom had finally, finally, been promoted to warrior after far too long, and now he'd finally get to test himself in battle! In the tunnels, he wouldn't even have to worry about being blind. What was there to see in the dark anyway? The tom trotted through the territory on light paws, considering how well he would do. Foxstar had to let him go, right? She wanted to make an impact, so she just had to include him. He was sure of it.
"You seem like you are in a good mood!" Twilightbell huffed as she caught up to Strangersweet. It was getting harder and harder to keep up with her clanmates now. Her kits were due within the next moon and she was supposed to be staying in the camp, but she had never been happy in the nursery. She got bored and often left to either return to the Janus camp or to go for a walk. Today she had been on a walk and she had stumbled across Strangersweet. "Are you hoping that Foxstar lets you go to fight the Regime?" Honestly she would have liked to go as well, but she knew that most likely wasn't possible considering her own situation.

The tom turned to his sister and smiled. It had been a long while since they'd really spoken. With her position, they were kept away from each other longer than either of them would have liked, he supposed. In some ways, he was glad for her pregnancy, despite the fact she seemed determined to avoid her own family at times, he noted with some amusement. In others, not so much. Particularly the fact of whose kits they were.
But today, that was not his focus. "Yeah! I feel like I've been cooped up in camp so long, I want to actually do something for once." Of course, he was usually kept in camp due to always overextending himself. Of any of the kits, he'd perhaps had the hardest time adjusting from their condition in youth, always pushing himself too hard, too fast, and even now, he was notably weaker than most warriors, though the tom continued to try and prove otherwise.
"I just wish I had the chance to go. I should be there with Dragonswrath, but now I'll be stuck here in the nursery." She made a face as she said this. Anyone that knew Twilightbell would know how much she hated being cooped up in the nursery. She had been named as a Janus at a very young age and so the nursery just wasn't something she was used to. She supposed this was her own fault though. She should have been more careful and in the end perhaps this was the Sun God's way of reminding her where her loyalties were supposed to lie. "You will just have to fight enough Regime cats for the both of us." She grinned at him. "I'll be expecting it you know."

"I'll bring back a nice plush tail for you to line your nest with." He assured, understanding her annoyance. Of all his littermates, he'd been promoted first to apprentice, save for Twilightbell's promotion, and yet, he'd been the last to actually become a warrior. Strangersweet had hated being cooped up in the apprentice's den, unable to compete with cats who'd spent less time in the den than him. It was infuriating, and he could only imagine that his sister felt the same about her predicament.
