( T-minus 20 hours until the RR attack. Not more than a few hours prior, Foxstar has just announced this moon's promotions. With that over, cats are completing the final preparations for battle with the Regime. Everyone is in camp organizing herbs, paint, and discussing where they'll all be, whether that be staying and watching over the kits and queens, joining in the battle patrol, etc. )
Snapdragoncynosure hummed, her paws working quickly to separate the pile of herbs that had been collected from both EarthClan and SunClan land into piles. Soon enough, Foxstar and Littlebird, as well as the Janus and everyone else with decent knowledge of herbs, would be in need of them to heal SunClan's injuries. There was bound to be many, given the scale of the battle, and she personally wasn't looking forward to having to deal with the injured. All this because of one cat getting under Foxstar's skin. Then again, SunClan didn't seem to be complaining. Now that MoonClan had their land back to themselves, the cats were certainly looking for a new target, and the Priestess had given them one.

Littlebird would not be part of the battle, choosing to remain farther back at a point for the other cats to retreat to. Many critically injured cats would be brought to her there, to get out of the chaos of the battle. As one of the clan's two main healers, it wasn't wise for both of them to be on the front lines. Besides she preferred working behind the scenes, allowing Foxstar to take the spot light. This was Foxstar's war, but she would do what she could to support her. She barked a few orders for what herbs were to be taken to the retreat point, and which ones would be going to the front lines.

"Need any help?" The she-cat called, lifting her head to speak to the Promised. Her mother was a healer, and she understood the importance of herbs, even if she wasn't a who really liked war much, if at all. As such, she intended to stay close to Littlebird in battle, focusing on the wounded rather than participating if at all possible.

THe gray she cat nodded motioning over to a tangle mess of cobwebs "Yes if you wouldn't mind winding those up neatly on a few sticks" she continued taking herbs out of storage to place them on to larger leaves that she would later use to wrap them into bundles. "We were running low, so I sent some patrols out in search of them. However, they didn't do a great job organizing them" leaving them in such a state was unacceptable. Not only would it make it difficult to carry, but more difficult to use as well. Having them wound neatly on the ends of sticks would also mean that they could divide what they had between SunClan's camp, the temporary station she was setting up, and the front lines. They would need a lot of cobwebs, and she still wasn't entirely satisfied that they had managed to obtain enough of them. Battles like these tended to lead to deep wounds that would need to be wrapped tightly and have pressure applied.

Glancing over at the pile, Snapdragoncynosure took in a sharp breath that expressed her agreement. "You'd think they'd never heard of organizing at all, by the looks of this mess." She agreed, already searching around for a nice stick to begin wrapping the webs around.

She purred in amusement, never stopping from her own task "To be fair, its not a task they are normally asked to do, but it's not hard to at least stack things that look similar" the mess before them was just scattered assortments of things that they had gathered that they thought might be useful. The Janus could help once their other duties were done, but it was nice to have an extra set of competent paws at the moment. Even Lionpaw and Fernpaw could have done a better job sorting what they had gathered, but her children were off with their new mentors after their promotion earlier.
"Still. I'd expect them to have some sense. They seem more careful with the freshkill pile than they've been with these herbs!" Rolling dichomatic eyes to the sky, she carefully wrapping each strand of web around the stick in an ever growing bundle. Better. Much, much better.

She chuckled "Of course they care more for food than herbs, until they need them" Most cats didn't think ahead, only about their more immediate needs. "You are doing a good job" he commented motioning to the cobwebs. At least someone around here proved to be useful. "Has Foxstar assigned you a role for the upcoming battle yet?"

"My parents taught me well." Snapdragoncynosure agreed with a smile. The daughter of two medicine cats gave her a natural affinity for the craft, and she was proud to be useful in one way or other in the clan. "Yes, I'm going to be helping out with injuries, and protecting the herbs we bring, depending on what's needed at the moment. I'm not going to be in the main battle itself, thankfully. I'd rather stay behind to help those hurt anyhow."

"Perfect, I was going to suggest the same" she purred slightly. "I will need more able paws at the retreat point. I fear we may have many injuries to attend to after the battle"

"I don't doubt it. As much as Foxstar would have us believe otherwise. We're not nearly as good at fighting in the tunnels as our opponent, though we have a significant size advantage." Snapdragoncynosure didn't mean to bash Foxstar, she was simply commenting on the reality of this fight. "I can only hope that everyone gets out alive." She knew the consequences of disobedience. It was her adopted brother, Deal, who had been cursed. And her actual brother, Wormwood. Once Foxstar was set in her ways, there was no changing her mind. All the feline could do was minimize the damage.

Little bird agreed with her. She had her own doubts about this battle, but she couldn’t share those doubts openly. “I’m sure the Sun God will show us his favor in the battle to come” she paused yawning. All of this had started to take a toll on her. “All we can do is pray, and prepare the best we can”

"Did you want to get some rest?" The warrior questioned, offering a slight smile. "The battle is almost a day away yet, I'm sure Foxstar wouldn't mind if you took a nap. I can organize the herbs for you." She wasn't certain the feline would take the offer, especially without consulting Foxstar first, but she offered it anyway. Of anyone, Littlebird would be feeling the most stress, having to focus on both the healing and planning portions of this battle, on top of however she felt about the fight to come. Which, from Snapdragoncynosure's perspective, didn't seem all too confident.
