Apollo was recovering well after the SunClan attack. Truthfully, he wouldn't even be alive, if not for Miracle and the Mercenaries who showed up after hearing the fighting. He was alright now, and evidently, Mars was getting tired of him doing nothing but his job, because he'd been given a Cadet to train. Albeit one who'd been trained some already, but still. Certainly he'd be incapable of getting away with losing days on end to his work, having to socialize and accommodate for a cat who likely wouldn't appreciate being up for such an extended period of time, let alone without prey or rest.
