Mintscar paced before the entrance to camp. His cough had grown worse over the last few days but he avoided the medicine cat like the end of the world. He sat down and waited anxiously for Berserkpaw.
The reddish brown tom had just returned from a hunting patrol and, pleased to set eyes on his mentor, padded on over. "Hello!" He greeted. "Are you feeling any better today?" Berserkpaw, despite his huge frame, was usually as gentle and sweet as they come.

He gave a small smile as the tom greeted him. "Oh yeah im doing okay. You feeling up to some training?" He was secretly hoping the apprentice would say the patrol made him weary.
Berserkpaw's eyes narrowed as he looked upon his mentor. "Let's do something simple. My... erm... hunting crouch needs some work." He said after a moment. He didn't want Mintscar to overexert himself.

"Alright, lets head into the forest and see what you can scent." the tom meowed turning towards the thick undergrowth beyond. "Show me what youve learned since we began."
