Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She could hardly believe it was time. It seemed that only yesterday she was made the guider superior. Now, here she was, chaman if the regime. Everything fell on her shoulders. She now was in charge of the guiders and raiders, which meant a lot. If they weren’t preoperly trained, things might not go too well. A lot of pressure fell on her shoulders now.
She breathed in, her paws carrying her to Commander Mars’ den.
Mars looked up when he heard someone enter his den. He didn't get time to himself all that often and he had just slipped into his den for a bit of quiet time. When he recognized Roon, he smiled. "Is there something I can help you with?"
“Was I intruding..?” Roon mewed, her soft voice almost inaudible. The she-cat hesitated, her black furs blending in with the tunnel darkness almost too perfectly. “I didn’t mean to bother you.” Roon wanted to sigh, she probably had terrible timing.
"No you are perfectly fine." Mars straightened himself up and offered his aunt a cheerful smile. He beckoned her forward with his tail. "So what is on your mind?"
She nodded softly as she then made her way into the den and sat. The smaller feline curled her tail around herself, trying to make herself comfortable. Roon finally spoke, her eyes gazing upon the commander’s. “I suppose I wanted to speak to you about my new position...”
"Alright." Mars kept his steady green gaze on Roon. Honestly it still felt odd to think that he held power over his older family members but he tried his best not to think about it most of the time. "Is there something wrong?"
Despite the fact she felt a little overwhelmed at that very moment, nothing was actually wrong. “No... I just. I wanted to know exactly what you expect out of your chaman. I don’t want to let you down.” She confessed, her blue-green eyes shifting to her paws.
"What I expect of you?" For a moment Mars looked confused, but after a moment he just shook his head and smiled. "You've already proven yourself to be very capable as Guider Superior. You don't have to prove yourself as chaman. I expect that you already know what is expected of the chaman and I ask no less."
Roon blinked, but only nodded in return. “My apologies for bothering you...” how mouse brained was she? Of course she knew the duties, but... She nodded as she found herself standing to her paws then.
