Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It was only a rumor, but one that Turbulentpaw could not resisit checking out. Ever since the earthquake his herb stock had been terribly low, and a patrol returned with reported sightings of a rare herb. It was a small white herb that grew in the shaded areas. It was difficult to find during the day, but at night it's pale white petals would almost seem to glow in the moonlight. It looked like a flower, but it was actually a type of fungus. This herb had a lot of uses. The petals could be rubbed on a cat's eyes to reduce inflamation. It could be placed in water and drank to help with convultions and as a sedative for cats that needed to be calmed down.
This herb could only be found this time of year, so even though he was tired he set out in search of it. He followed the patrols report to the edges of NightClan's territory, but he didn't see any good locations for the herb to be growing. It needed thick foliage. He stared over the boarder, almost contemplating going back and getting a warrior to escort him, but the moon was starting to fall and by the time he got back here there wouldn't be enough moonlight to keep searching. Nervously, he walked into the unclaimed lands, keeping his sense alert for any signs of the herb or danger.
[This herb is based off of a real one found where I live, even though I don't think its an official herb XD]

Pearlypaw had been in search of the same herb, but it was a usual journey for her. Brookclan's territory made some herbs nearly impossible to find and this was one of them. Fortunately, she was granted permission to leave the territory in search of the herb. Of course, at this point she figured it was because the clan saw no use in her anyways. Ever since Springlockedgrave's suicide, Pearlypaw blamed herself for everything. She could never live up to the former Vrachi's legacy. She was simply a mistake that somehow got placed into the position of Acecoop. Maybe Springlockedgrave just felt sorry for her then regretted her decision. These thoughts constantly plagued the young cat's mind, leaving her lost in thought rather than paying attention to her surroundings.
Each step he took was carefully placed, painfully aware that if it came to fight he would be easily outmatched. Not only did he have no combat training, but his thin body didn't lend itself to it either. It wouldn't take much force to break his bones, and his almost non-exsistant fur provided no protection from claws or teeth.
He frooze midsetp as he heard the bushes up ahead rustling. With one paw in the air, the only thing that moved were his overly large ears as the narrowed in on the location of the sound. He wasn't sure what to do. He could turn back, but then his clan would have to go without the herb. Instead he watched, waited for something to emerge.

Her fluffy cream and ginger fur could not be hidden any longer as Pearlypaw unknowingly stepped into the tom's path. She halted as soon as she met his gaze and let out a wail. "Ah, I'm so sorry! I didn't expect anyone to be here! I'm just after herbs!" She explained, her words tumbling out like a rock slide. She didn't realize that the tom in front of her was also a medicine cat. They didn't usually cross paths and she had not been to a half-moon gathering yet. The small she-cat braced herself against any claws or teeth that was sure to come at her in the next few moments.
As the wail pierced the silence of the night, Turubulentpaw jumped backwards falling into a defensive state. His eyes widened, as he took in the sight of the cat before him quickly. The cat was young and covered in fluffy white and orange fur. While the young cat wasn't to much of threat and looked just as frightened as himself, he couldn't help but peer around to ensure that no one else was with them.
As the cat continued to talk, he relaxed slightly realizing that this cat must be a medicine cat apprentice as well. He hadn't been to a half-moon gathering either, and had only met DayClan's medicine cats. A little purr errupted from his throat "well if that is the case, then I suppose we have nothing to be afraid of. I am NightClan's medicine cat. I know Im young, but our last medicine cat disappered without training anyone, so im learning still to. I came out to search for a herb they were telling me about. One of our cats has tremors, and this little glow flower can help stop them. One of our patrols said that I might find them around here"

Pearlypaw let out a deep sigh of relief as the tom spoke. She felt fortunate to run into another cat that studied herbs and healed their groupmates. A medicine cat was what they called them? She guessed it made more sense than acecoop. She tilted her head as he continued to speak, beginning to worry about his clanmates. "I'm so glad I ran into you, then. My name is Pearlypaw and I am the Acecoop of Brookclan. I guess you call those medicine cat apprentices in the other clans, right?" She had heard a bit about the other clans' rankings and how they differed. It was a lot to take in, but she had managed to retain a bit of it. "The flower you are searching for is around here and I can help you look. If you don't mind, that is..." She grew a bit more shy as she awaited his answer. What if he sent her away?
