Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Even though he had almost died in the earthquake, the young apprentice had pushed himself to the limits trying to help his clan-mates. He had been trapped in his den while water came pouring in, being trapped in the current that the tremors caused in the small space. It had taken a lot out of him, but he had managed to escape just in time. Once he had reached the clearing, his job wasn't done though. Many in the clan were injured so despite being soaked and exhausted, he worked the night away making sure the worst of the injuries had been treated.
After working all night, he finally found some moss at the edge of the clearing and curled into a ball to rest.
Echopaw approached the exhausted medicine cat apprentice. Turbulentpaw had wrapped her tail which had gotten caught during the earth quake. She was relieved the shaking had finally stopped. "Turbulentpaw?" She didn't want to bother the tired medicine cat but she had to say something. "Thank you. For all you have done for everyone."
His eyes slowly opened at the sound of approaching footsteps, only to see Echopaw. He had been expecting news of someone else needing treatment, but instead she only offered kind words. He smiled slightly "Thank you, I needed to hear that right about now"
He felt like he hadn't done enough, there were still waiting to see him and Brightpaw. If only he hadn't have tried to go back and save the herbs, than perhaps he would have been well enough to keep going. He was still struggling with his decision, knowing that it hadn't been the wisest choice. What if he hadn't made it out? That would have left Brightpaw as the only medicine cat that NightClan had.
Even more than the doubts he had about him self, the fear that he still held hidden in his heart was bothering him. Was StarClan angry with NightClan?
He wasn't really sure what to say. He was supposed to be NightClan's medicine cat, and yet he was just a scared as all the other young cats in the clan. He had a lot of pressure on his young shoulders, and was expected to remain calm, to help be a guiding force. It was difficult to live up to everyone;s standards in such a time.
"Well.. Yes, but I" he paused, perhaps he shouldn't have said even that much. He looked down at his paws "I apologize. I'm not really supposed to talk about my worries. I need to be strong for the clan"
