Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Hey Twily, want to practice some battle moves with me? I heard you were a janus to so I bet you're a total baddy in combat. C'mon, show me what you got," Autumngossamer grinned.
Autumngossamer was among the new Janus's. She had come in when DayClan was captured and to a lot of peoples surprise she went from initiate straight to Janus. But given her pompous attitude and SunClan pride she seemed to fit in better than some of the cats born in SunClan. She was a gorgeous ruby flamed she-cat with gossamer light tabby markings. Her honey brown eyes were rare considering the usual glamorous cat eyes. She wore her traditional black paint in a henna pattern and had made her eyes pop by outlining them in dramatic feathery long silhouettes. Strung in her tail were two feathers traditionally worn by DayClan cats that she hadn't seemed to part with yet.
Twilightbell almost jumped when she heard Autumngossamer. She had not really been expecting anyone to disturb her nap, but she supposed she hadn't really done anything productive today so it wouldn't hurt to spend a bit of time with her clanmate. "Well actually, I'm not a Janus anymore. I am the Soothsayer Promised now and I hate to disappoint you, but I'm not supposed to be sparring at the moment, not until the kits are born anyway." She had neglected to move to the nursery because it would be a pain to leave the Janus camp behind and it would only put her behind in her studies. Besides that, the Janus were less likely to question her about the father of her kits and that was a question she tended to avoid.
Honestly, it hurt her pride a bit that she had been referred to her as a janus once more. The sun god himself had sent a sign naming her as a janus when she was barely a moon old and by the time she was apprentice aged, she had become the Soothsayer promised. She was proud of her accomplishments and expected to see them recognized. It wasn't worth starting an argument however. Autumngossamer was still reletively new after all so it was possible that she had simply been mistaken. "I would be more than happy to spar with you after the kits are born though but I'm not sure if you would want to wait that long."
Unlike most SunClan cats, Twilightbell had long fluffy black fur and round orange eyes. She looked like more of an outsider than the former DayClan she cat did. Even though she had been born to two SunClan cats, it would not be difficult for one to think otherwise. Then there was the matter of her eyesight. Blindness was a trait that ran in her family and both she and her siblings had been touched by blindness in one way or other. While she could see, her world was a world of shadows. She could see the shadow of whatever was directly in front of her, but other than that she used sound and scent to get around mostly. "Perhaps we can do something else together though. Well, that is if your up to it." Perhaps she would take her to the river. It had been a while since she'd had a good swim. Honestly it was rare for a SunClan cat to enjoy the water, but Twilightbell had found that she enjoyed the water, especially in the heat of summer when the sun was scorching her thick black pelt. It was always fun to watch her clanmate's reaction when she jumped in however and she was sure that would be amplified now that she was a queen. "Perhaps we could go for a short walk? I know something fun we might be able to do."
"Suuuure. Hey Twily how can you have kits? Like isn't it I don't know, terrifying to be pregnant? Having a living ball of skin grow inside of you and one day just... Burst out!" She shivered, "Ick, not that I hate kits or anything, but giving birth is something I'll never be brave enough to do."
Autumngossamer fell into step along side Twilightbell. She had a tiger pace where she often walked too far ahead of Twilightbell, slowed down and continued the process of walking too fast. She had been a small apprentice for a while and when she finally got her growth spurt to an average sized cat she hadn't seemed to notice that her pace needed to be a bit adjusted now that she had longer legs. Autumngossamer wrinkled her nose at something that she smelled, but nothing seemed off which was probably why Autumngossamer paid no mind to it and continued or attempted to walk along side Twilightbell. She hadn't known Twilightbell, but she seemed a bit shy and uncertain of herself. Both annoying traits, but usable. She didn't know why SunClan cats either seemed to be victims or manipulators in this clan, but it appeared to be a thing. Twilightbell looked to be an exception though, she might have been a victim if it wasn't for her status.
