Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Stop the oppression, that's the aggression! Screw succession!" Sable-chan chanted repeatedly.
Truthfully, she had no idea what oppression meant, but she was pretty sure it was a bad word that described Solaris. Everything in the league was doing great! The league had found a new home to hunt in and her mom was doing a great job as leader. Now Solaris felt like a replacement for her mom because he was. She was always promised that someone from her family would be in charge, but that promise was broken when Solaris became in charge. Now she had no mom and a promise broken. She was convinced that Solaris had to have cheated to get to be warden, there was no other explanation. Although most cats heard her chanting few were capable of noticing her. She was a ball of black fluff that blended well with the shadowy landscapes of the league. Most would confuse her as being a dust bunny.
"Why are you chanting?" Elyon-chan asked, the golden tabby coming up to her and looking at her with a confused expression. She didn't know what oppression Sable was speaking of... or what aggression was against them. Who would be foolish enough to show aggression against the league?
"Solaris is trying to pretend to be leader, but everyone knows that my families supposed to be in charge, that's why Arden's assassin and I was made a resident, but Solaris stole it! We need to make sure someone in my bloodline becomes nemesis, it's the rules," Sable-chan said matter of factly.
Elyon-chan tilted her head. "But wasn't Solaris Warden, and didn't Vera... leave or something? I haven't seen her in a while though. So doesn't that mean Solaris is nemesis?"
Sable-chan stomped down her little paw or well, nub of a paw, "NO!" She squeaked, "My mom had to tend to important business opportunities. She wanted to leave one of us in charge, someone from my family. Why else would she have gathered my entire family to say she had important matters? She wanted us to know she was leaving so we could be in charge. Solaris was just the help, he's done his job well and can go. Now someone else needs to lead and definitely shouldn't be Corvus either. That's just how things work, bloodlines in the league always win," Sable-chan frowned.
Elyon-chan shrugged reaching up to scratch at her ear with her left hind leg. "well then she should've declared one of you as her warden, that's the rules of the league that she laid out. All she had to do was tell one of your family that they're her new warden and will succeed her. Otherwise it's clear she left it to Solaris." Elyon-chan said dismissively.
