( Following the start of spring, a tornado has blown through the city, collapsing a building in which a few Combatants have taken shelter. Dig through the rubble and get them out alive at all costs. Open thread. Feel free to have characters die/find a few dead bodies in the rubble. )
Akamu coughed, dust thick in the large Combatant's lungs as he awoke, trapped by rubble. One minute, they'd been sheltered in the building, and the next everything had come crashing down on them, literally. The tom tried to move, only for searing pain to shoot up his left foreleg, the limb pinned to the ground by heavy brick. Not that there was really anywhere to go. The broken building surrounded him, he could barely even turn his head. There were only flickers of light around him, water dripping down from the soaked layers above him that sank uncomfortably into his back and ran down his side.
"Is everyone okay?" The tom called, unsure if those that had sheltered with him were alive, much less able to answer him. He didn't even know how long he'd been out. Minutes? Hours? He wasn't sure, honestly.
Pluto wasn't strong nor did he have much in the means of endurance, but it was his job to tend to the fallen, both in life and death. Anyone that came out of the rumble would come straight to him. The High Sage glanced down at the pile of herbs he'd brought over, unsure if he had everything they'd need to tend to whatever came out of the mess before him. He had brought what he could save from his den, but the storm had destroyed some of his supplies and he was limited on what he had.
