Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Fae was glad to be done with the entire ordeal of pregnancy. It had been the first time one of her flings had resulted in kits, and it made her feel fat and unattractive, even hiding it for as long as she did. The pains of labor had been intense, but she had forgotten them quickly after they had ended, staring down at the four bundles of fur at her swollen stomach. Wasn't there supposed to be some instant connection between her and these useless sacks? If there was, she didn't feel it, almost recoiling as they nursed. Hopefully they would grow up quickly, so she could return to her life.

"Aw look at that, bundles of responsibility and bloodsucking joy." Inari joked as he poked his head into the nursery. "You sure their mine Fae? Iv'e been told im not exactly producing kits left and right." He raised a brow at the bundles at Fae's belly. "I mean they dont really look like me." he glanced from the kits to his black and white pelt.
"They have some black on them." Fae shrugged weakly, lifting her brown tabby head to make eye contact with her kits father. "If I hadn't birthed them myself I wouldn't claim them as mine. They must be yours- you were my most recent conquest."

The fighter built tom scoffed. "I was Your conquest?" he grinned. "Im sure you fell for me like a rock in water" he teased though he wouldnt tell her with the kits having just been born that he had been bored and needed the company but otherwise hadnt intended a round two. Much less responsibility of fatherhood. Although he was sure his brother would give him grief if he didnt at least make an effort.
"As if." Fae wrinkled her whiskers- she felt much that same about him, never staying attached to one tom for long, but it felt like a sin to admit that when their union had resulted in these four bundles. "Anyway. This is Aster, Calla, Quill and Cypress." She motioned in turn to the children, her voice not containing much more than the faintest of interest.

"Sounds good. I'll try to remember their names." He bent down and rested his head on the edge of the nest. The small kits smelled off milk and warmth. Part of him wanted to curl up in a ball in the nest next to them and bury his muzzle in their small bodies. "Ehem." he cleared his throat. He leaned into the nest and pressed his maw to each in turn before rising and giving his pelt a shake. "Alright thats enough responsibility for me for one day." he mused givign his chest a quick lick.
"Ok. See you tomorrow." Fae wasn't too concerned with his lack of initiative- she wasn't planning on stepping up to mother the kits. Daily visits from their father would be good enough for the little ones, right? "I'm going to take a nap now." The dainty feline stretched out, and Quill-chan let out a brpppp chirrup and nuzzled closer.
