Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Spot Burningstar had a lot of scratches, the ginger she cat having been getting Turbulentpaw out when the tree went down. She was bleeding and a few splinters were lodged into her pelt, but the ginger she cat looked mostly okay. Just out of breath. "I'll live." She said wearily to Larkwing.
racerindy @blankslate Stealthclaw upon reaching the clearing set down Divinekit and immediately pulled in Echopaw and Sacredkit. Quickly gathering up the rest of her adopted kits to her. "Oh thank StarClan you're all safe." she said pulling Echopaw in close and beginning to lick the young she cat's head checking her over for any splinters or injuries. "Are you all right? Echopaw? And are you all alright?" She asked the litter of bobtails looking from Sacredkit, to Divinekit, and then to the rest of their siblings relieved to see them all accounted for. "Well at least you're all here." She murmured her eyes glancing over towards Smallspiral.
Smallspiral stood by herself the she cat's gaze looking back towards the camp her ears lowered and her teeth gritted together. She dug her claws into the ground, the maine-coon cat's whole body shaking. Back in the camp, buried under a rock, buried under the trunk of a tree and fallen branches, was the body of her brother. Who knew if after this they could recover him?! How would they hold a vigil?! How would they share tongues?! How could this happen?! Unable to articulate any of this, Smallspiral tilted her head back and let out a caterwaul of grief. Many cats looking at her as she screamed her anguish to the sky, to the uncaring sun that still shone down on them from above. To the stars hidden away by the blue skies over head.
"I'm okay" Echopaw mewed, thankful for the comfort of Stealthclaw and she buried her face into her chest like a young kit. She had splinters and needles in her fur but none had gone into her skin, surprisingly. Then she heard Smallspiral's caterwaul and instantly felt her heart sink and the memory of Thistlebriar being crushed replayed in her mind. He had risked his life to save them. Pulling away from Stealthclaw, she padded over to Smallspiral, wrapping her tail around her to provide some comfort. "He died a hero" she mewed, solemnly. "He risked his life to save me and Skypaw. He will always be remembered as a hero to me" Her voice shook and tears blurred her vision. She didn't know the tom very well but he was still a clanmate and he still saved her life even when it costed him his own.
Larkwing nodded to Burningstar then looked over at Smallspiral. He felt a lump in his throat as she wailed in grief for her lost brother.
The moment was a blur for Sacredkit. One moment, he was huddled against the safety of Stealthclaw. The next, he found himself in the maw of Echopaw. His bobbed around violently as the apprentice rushed him out of camp, watching his swirl smaller and smaller the farther they went. Once he finally found himself being put down, he rushed immediately to his foster mother and sister. "Where's Papa?Where's Papa?!" He frantically looked around for his father, not seeing him in sight. Was he lost with the camp as well?
After seeing Thistlebriar get crushed and Twilightpaw get hurt Duskwing's ears pinned back and she hurried towards the apprentice den. "Briarpaw! Spiderpaw! Where are you!" She cried she hadn't seen her children leave yet and feared something had happened to them.
The earthquake had shocked Briarpaw, and instead of running out of the apprentice's den, she had found herself backed - literally - into a corner. When she heard her mother's voice, she wanted to move, but found that her body refused to cooperate. Even her voice didn't work.
Hollypaw While other cats had gone and ensured the remaining apprentices had escaped, Duskwing located where Briarpaw was. Immediately the she cat hurried over to her daughter, the tree hadn't fallen yet, but it was clear there was trouble. "It's going to be all right sweetie." Duskwing assured Briarpaw quickly bending her head and grabbing Briarpaw by the scruff. After losing so many of her family... and seeing Thistlebriar perish, Duskwing was not going to risk losing her daughter.
While Briarpaw was definitely a lot bigger than when she'd been a kitten, Duskwing was still able to pull her daughter towards the exit as the tree shuddered over the camp, pulling Briarpaw out just behind Stealthclaw and Echopaw as the tree went down. Duskwing hissing as a large branch scraped past her making a nasty cut on Duskwing's flank, but the older she cat continued to pull Briarpaw out.
indy Stealthclaw glanced around. "A lot of cats are still coming from the camp." She tried to assure Sacredkit, "Your father likely just took a different route out," She said looking back towards the forest. The ground was still shaking from the earthquake.
Spot Smallspiral let out a sob her head lowering her ears flat. "But now he's not here why did StarClan have to take him from me? Why did this terrible growl have to overtake and shake the ground?" Smallspiral said, voice tight as she tried to hold back more sobs her tail drooping beside her.
Burningstar followed Larkwing's gaze a grim look on her face, before glancing back towards where their clanmates were slowly but surely joining them in the clearing. "We'll need to wait for the rest of our clanmates to join us, although most of our clanmates went the same route, there's a possibility some deviated in their panic." She sighed.
Briarpaw didn't complain as her mother picked her up by the scuff and carried (more like half dragged) her out of the camp.. When a branch attacked Duskwing and left a nasty cut, the apprentice flinched. She glanced around at the dens that were starting to collapse. "Where are we going to live?" she whispered, slightly surprised to hear her voice when she hadn't been able to use it just moments before. Maybe the shock was starting to get replaced by adrenaline. It wasn't her normal voice, by anymeans, and she wasn't sure if her mother heard her whisper over the chaos.
Duskwing grunted unable to fully answer around Briarpaw as she hurriedly half dragged her daughter out of the camp. Once they were away from anything immediately threatening to squash them as they moved along the shaking ground, Duskwing maneuvering herself and Briarpaw carefully over the shifting cracks in the earth did she manage to speak.
"We'll figure something out. For now we need to get to the clearing. Away from anything that could fall on us." Duskwing said around Briarpaw's scruff. "Just relax, I won't let anything happen to you." She assured Briarpaw. And she wouldn't. She wouldn't lose Briarpaw... not when her namesake Duskwing's foolish brother Briarmask had been lost. Duskwing was ready to fight all of StarClan and anything else to protect her children.
Echopaw didn't know how to comfort the sobbing warrior. She didn't know what the she-cat was going through. She's never lost a brother before...and it was a brutal way that he had died. At least it was quick...but she wasn't going to say that to Smallspiral. That would only upset her more. "He may not be in front of us anymore to where we can see him but...he hasn't left us..." She placed her paw over Smallspiral's heart. "And he will always be alive in here." She attempted to give Smallspiral a smile but her own grief made it hard.
Hollypaw Larkwing breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Duskwing carrying Briarpaw. He rushed over to his apprentice and checked her over. "Briarpaw, are you okay?"

TURBULENTPAW It was like a nightmare, a very specific nightmare that had been plaguing him for a few moons now. The ground shaking beneath his feet before disappearing and then being surrounded by water, unable to catch his breathe. Only the ground was still there, and he hadn't fallen into water it was filling his den. The young medicine cat looked around only to see Brightpaw fleeing as the water began to pool around him. His heart began to beat faster, but he needed to save as many herbs as possible. What ever was happening, there were sure to be a lot of injuries in the clan. The water was coming in slowly at first and he began to gather what he could, but it was difficult. Each shake almost strong enough to take him off his feet that were growing number by the moment in to cold water. He grabbed his bundle to leave, as a rush of water came gushing into the den. The current swept him off his feet, as he struggled to keep his head above the water and hold onto the herbs. The tremors only created a stronger circular current in the confined space, as he was drug under and tossed in circles. It was only the cries of Burningstar and the others that helped him find the exit, as he used the last of his strength to push towards the exit. He finally emerged, soaked and exhausted... but alive. A few precious life saving herbs were still bound tightly in the leaves and might be salvageable, but only time would tell. He took a moment to rest as everything still crashed around him, before forcing himself to his paws to join the others. He first sought out Brightleaf, relief rushing over him as his eyes found her familiar pelt. brightleaf
SPIDERPAW Luckily, Spiderpaw had not been in camp at the time of the earthquake. He had decided to put in a little extra training while most of the clan slept, but this also meant that he was on his own. Trees and limbs were crashing down around him, and the shaking made it difficult to gain steady footing. The young apprentice carefully made his way towards camp, worry about his siblings and mother a top priority in his mind. He paused, as a loud crack reverberated in his ears, a tree falling towards him. He squeezed his eyes shut, expecting the worse. However, the impact never came as the tree came to rest on the rocks behind him, pinning him between the tree and rocks with no easy escape. Jetclaw
DIVINEKIT The little white tom puffed out his chest as he was set down "well of course we are all ok" he didn't seem to bothered by the whole experience, perhaps even a little bit excited. "I didn't know the ground can shake like that. I'm sure papa will be here soon enough. No way he would let something like this stop him."
BLAZEPAW Blazepaw had managed to make it out camp rather quickly, having been eating to get ready for an early patrol. He wanted to stay behind and help the others, but he knew that if he himself started to tremor he would be more a burden than an asset in this situation. As he waited on others emerge, he felt his muscles begin to seize. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't bring himself to move...it was like he was frozen in time. Jetclaw
BLOODPAW Bloodpaw made his way out of the apprentice den at the same time as Beetlepaw. He glanced around at all the chaos, but he had only just begun his training. He stared wide eyed in terror, only the bump of a clanmate bringing him back into focus. He needed to get out of here. He wouldn't be able to help anyone if he was dead, he pushed forward joining the group of cats that were beginning to gather out of camp
Briarpaw knew her mother meant her words as soothing, but something about them made another surge of panic shoot through her. She didn't want to be the cause of her Duskwing getting even more injured than she already was. The wound on her mother was her fault... what if something even worse happened because Briarpaw couldn't move in time? It was then that she realised her brother hadn't been in the den with her. Her heart dropped. What if something had happened to him, or he was trapped, and didn't have their mother to save him? She felt ill.
When her mentor asked if anything was wrong, all she could do was shake her head. No, nothing was wrong with her. Physically. She was just terrified, because she couldn't see Spiderpaw or Beetlepaw. It didn't help that her mother's words were still ringing in her ears.
"I'm glad your okay and safe" he mewed, pressing his muzzle to his apprentice's head for a moment before retreating to check the others. He perked his ears at Divinekit, "Well, I'm glad your unhurt, little one. You were very brave. All of you kits were very brave" He added, scanning all the kits that had escaped the collapsing camp. Other than a few minor scratches and bruises, Larkwing was grateful that he was okay too.
The adrenaline had kept Echopaw from feeling her injuries until now. She noticed an awkward bend in her tail and several scratches on her belly. She licked her tail and felt a kink in it. Was it permanent? It hurt, thats for sure. It must have happened when she was trapped in the apprentice's den.

DIVINEKIT The little white tom purred under the praise, and began to look around the clearing. A few cats had injuries, but no one seemed to bad off to his untrained eye. "Well its easy to be brave with someone like moma watching over us" he gazed up at their adoptive mother with a little smile. They had always been told that she had just taken them in, but that didn't change the way he viewed her.
Sacredkit was still a little shaken up despite his brother's cheery attitude. He looked up at the deputy, determination in golden his eyes. "I wanna go look for Papa! I have to make sure he's okay! Please, can we go look for him?" Although their father was extremely uninvolved in their lives and being raised, the kit just knew something wasn't right.
"I'm sure he is okay" Larkwing assured the kit with a gentle voice. "I will send out a group of warriors that aren't injured to go look for him, okay? I need you to stay here, though and protect your family."
