Here is the informational center for our new plot, Ascension. 

Keep in mind that you can and should incorporate the plot events into your everyday roleplay! Hold secret meetings, declare allegiances, have suspicions, and keep up with the plot updates. Have fun with this!



GENERAL
Plot Summary: The former Nemesis, Vera E’tani, left Primal Instinct in a state of transition. She had a Warden, now Solaris E’tan, who claimed the position he was appointed to take. But she had also left behind an extensive bloodline, a lineage that permeates the League down its core. There are other cats who would like to take the throne. The League is split three directions- Bloodliners, who rally behind one of Vera’s descendants, Rebels, who seek to place another Hunter on the throne, and Fundamentalists, who support the law that the Warden succeeds the Nemesis (and thus they back Solaris). Tension builds among the League, with suspicions and accusations of cats being Rebels or Bloodliners, with only a slim majority of cats supporting Solaris. The Bloodliners launch an assassination against Solaris, taking the first of his eight lives, and the two leaders are executed as a result. With the Bloodliners subdued, the Rebels seize control of camp one afternoon while Solaris leads a patrol. When the patrol returns fighting ensues between the two sides, ending in the execution of the rebel leaders and the finalization of Solaris’ control over Primal Instinct.

TIMETABLE
1] April 1st-April 7th CROWNED: Solaris takes the title of Nemesis officially. There are murmurs of dissension, of possible rebellion or overthrow. Tensions begin to rise. Solaris names his Warden and Proxies. Suspicions about who's a rebel or bloodliner begin to take hold.

2] April 8th-April 14th QUESTIONED: Solaris first addresses the possibility of rebellion, promising harsh punishment for those who stand against him. Cats begin firmly taking sides. Tensions are highest here- the calm before the storm begins, and all wonder when the first signs of rebellion will come.

3/4/5] April 15th-29th WOUNDED/PUNISHED/SEIZED: The Bloodliners take the first of Solaris' eight lives in an assassination, and Solaris begins the hunt for the two Bloodliner leaders. Arden is demoted from his position as Assassin for his role in the assassination, and Batair takes his place under the oath of backing Solaris.The Rebels gather more support from some cats in the League. The two Bloodliner leaders are found and executed publicly by the Warden, Aconite. Whispers of rebellion still grow, and the Outspoken Bloodliner supporters receive varying degrees of punishment. The Rebels take control of camp. Solaris and his supporters engage them and take back the camp. Solaris personally executes all key Rebel supporters as well as Corvus, his Proxy and the Rebel leader. Her daughter, Corax, who backed Solaris, is promoted to Proxy in the following moon. Outspoken supporters of the Rebels receive varying degrees of punishment. Solaris' rule over the League is finalized, and dissenters are all subdued.
