Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. Vesta was excited that her sister, Juno, was finally going to be able to try the trial again, once her kits were born. The Combatant was beaming with joy for the Charged to finally have another chance at being something more.
Juno, while excited at the chance of finally being treated normally despite the swelling of her belly, had quickly fled the meeting, having attempted to sneak out quietly. The Heda’s words hadn’t upset her, no, but the nausea had been growing and she didn’t want to hurl in the middle of camp. Stumbling back in, she leaned heavily against something and sighed. “Blast these kits,” she mumbled.
Pluto, having spotted two of his sisters leaving the meeting quickly, followed after them. The tom had no idea what to do with kits but how to treat them for illnesses and injuries. He just knew he'd be their awkward and distant uncle. So hearing his two sisters talk about Juno's litter drew his curiosity. "Do you not want them?" It was an innocent question in his eyes, head cocked sideways he thought, wondering who was even the cat's mate. No one that he could think of. Maybe it was a fling? Though he couldn't say for sure as he didn't spend much time with his siblings.
