Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Ah. Fresh air was always appreciated. Room found herself breathing in deeply as the sun shone across her furs, warming them and even calming her. The topsoil was a place that she didn’t get to visit that often, but when she did, she cherished it and took in every moment. Her tail waved behind her as she slowly walked the area, she was to be gathering herbs. Not to be gone too long, she was told. Bring a mercenary with you, she was told. No. She wanted to be alone. So alone she was.
Unfortunately for the Guider Superior, it appeared as though someone didn't want her to have her alone time. But, the she-cat didn't really think Roon would mind, and for very good reason. The ebony feline had been gone for more than six moons, her kits disappearing a moon after her, everything seeming to have fallen apart after Kotori's betrayal and Zakiyyah leaving to join him in the League. But Shule had been determined to return to the Regime, to the kits she didn't know were gone, to her mate and her home.
She'd been home for a while now. The first night had been her brewing in her anger over Sean's audacity to give their kits away to his sister, Green. The next had been spent confronting Glowstar over the kits her brother had given her, only to unravel a plot by Foxstar to steal the Sentinels' kits for SunClan. They'd been pawns in the Priestess game, and in a way, she'd won. Glowstar saw the kits as her own, and some had chosen to stay with her, despite knowing that the fox-hearted leader of SunClan would still do her best to lay claim to them.
Ever since, she'd been hyper focused on completing her duties as a reinstated Sentinel, serving her nephew, Mars, to the best of her ability. She'd briefly visited Slawn's grave, but beyond that, she hadn't reconnected with any of her family outside of the Commander, her mate, and the kits who'd come to the Regime. And that's how she'd wanted it. The white pawed she-cat hadn't wanted to see Roon, or her parents, or Mars' kits, she wanted to be left alone. But, she couldn't do that forever. It wasn't fair to them, at the very least.
So she'd finally bit the bullet and went, knowing the Superior had gone out alone. Her pawsteps were quieter now, footfalls soft almost like a Scout's, her approach quiet and slow as she neared her sister.
Could it be? Her sister? Roon perked her ears, turning around. It had been some time since Shule had even acknowledged her existence.... Roon found herself elated inside, but still wounded, too. Her blue-green eyes landed on the she-cat, unwavering for a while.
When had they grown so... apart? Any of her siblings? Slawn was gone now. Sovio was around, but.. when had she spoken to him last? What if Rookie? No cat seemed to know where he was... they were all... so broken apart.
Roon often times visited her parents, but she wasn’t sure that Shule did.
“Shule...” She greeted, her voice laced with sadness.

Siblings reuniting. How heartwarming. Limavady's tail tip ticked once as he lay up in a tree, shaded by pine needles and covered by their shadows. His tabby markings camouflaged him; he melted in with the tree bark.
The corner of the Sentinel's maw lifted up in an attempt at a half smile, though it seemed broken, in a way. More than six moons gone, missing her own brother's funeral, her kits disappearance, Mars' ascension to Commander... So much time wasted. She never had been close to Roon, or any of her other siblings really, hyper focused on being the perfect soldier, and often leaving her family in the dust in order to dedicate herself to her work. It had brought her far, into a secure position as Sentinel, mate to the former Commander Sean, the she-cat noted as one of the strongest of the Regime's ranks. She'd proved that in overcoming every challenge to find her way home, in taking the second life of SunClan's High Priestess out of rage for what Foxstar had put her and her kits through.
In some ways, it put into perspective just how much of her life she'd wasted. At the same time, she knew nothing else. Work. Work. Work. There had been a time once, in her youth, in which she'd been more open and carefree, but those days were long past, it seemed. "It's been a while." That was probably the understatement of the century. She cared for her family, she really did, but she kept to herself and did as she was told. Sean had gotten her out of her shell a little bit, the tom wild and crazy in comparison with her stony attitude. Not that this had translated too much into other aspects of her life.
It had been a long time, since she'd really spent any amount of time with her family, parents included. She thought she might change that, despite her instincts to buckle down and throw herself more into her duties. Hopefully this would be a start.
The chaman gazed at her sister, her heart giving off so many different emotions. The feline wasn’t sure what she was supposed to be feeling but she knew that a part of her felt very happynin the moment
Roon sat down, her tail flicking a little. “It has. Are you doing well?” This felt unnatural. The conversation did not flow as easily as it did with others, there was tension in the air, and it broke her heart to know that.
