In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

THE ROLEPLAY
Mammothstamp sighed as he rolled onto his back, large fluffy paws raised into the air, enjoying the sun. He was a behemoth of a cat but he had a warm heart and all the love of the world to give, most especially to his four children. He never thought he’d be a father. Now here he was raising four apprentices and enjoying blissful relaxation and a rare moment away from them.

Squirrelpaw crept from the forest, looking a bit downtrodden and covered head to toe in snow. The ginger she-cat sneezed, sending the droplets flying in every which direction. And, with a guilty glance, she saw a few had splattered Mammothstamp. Her pelt flashing hot with embarrassment, she rushed over and stumbled over her paws clumsily. "Sorry, Dad!" she said woefully.
Jumping in surprise at the chill, his eyelids flew open only for a wild gaze to land on the moping she-cat. His expression softened. "What's the trouble, little acorn?"
Slothpaw lumbered in slowly after his sister. Snow cling to his brunt orange fur. He pull one of his white paws out of the snow and shook the snow off of it. His dark orange eyes stared up at his father then glanced over at his sister. The tom sniffled a yawn as he thought about the nice long nap he could be taking his the apprentice den right about now.
"Hey, Slothpaw," she said in melancholic greeting, before turning to her father. She shook her head, a bit too dramatically, and sat with an "oof" before finally deciding to relay into her woeful story. "I was walking out in the forest today, y'know, because I got bored and I'd done all of my training and stuff. And I was heading to go check on how my acorns were doing—" she broke off, frowning with annoyance. "Ironically, they'd all been stolen by Squirrels. And to make it worse, when I was walking back to camp, a branch full of snow fell on top of me!"
She gave another exasperated cry of annoyance and shook her head. "Why me?"
"Because you're more easily startled than a mouse." Saberpaw spoke up as he moved over to them. The brown and white apprentice stepping over carefully to arrange himself with precise movements before flopping down to lay next to his father. Slim like his mother and easily taking comfort against his fathers larger form. Laying his chin on his paws, his eyes slid halfway shut and the tom seemed to be ready for a cat nap.
She definitely knew the truth behind the words, but that didn't mean she wanted to exactly believe them. With a huff and a fluff of her pelt, she gave an indignant noise close to a squeak and turned away so that her back was childishly on the two laying toms now, agitation fluttering in her chest. "It's not like a try to be," she said, batting at a stray leaf that was sitting close to her paws.
Saberpaw nodded, giving a half hearted attempt towards shrugging one of his shoulders but the position to poor to do so. "You should just desensitize yourself." He hummed in suggestion, giving an opinion that his sister had not asked for. "Go out and have someone follow you around the territory trying to scare you until you stop getting spooked." It was obvious that tom was barley putting any thought into his words, tone distant and eyes sliding shut as he relaxed.
Mammothstamp had remained silent as his two children conversed, his eyes sliding closed shut once more. He'd wrapped his paw around Saberpaw's flank, pulling his son close to him as offered comfort. His tail settled on Squirrelpaw's back in reassurance, but come Saberpaw's last comment and the impending feeling of doom coming over him – he didn't need his children arguing on a nice day like this – he opened his eyes. "Squirrelpaw, you can't help what comes naturally to you. This is who you are. It's who you will always be. If it truly bothers you, approach Bearshadow about it. There's a reason they're your mentor. They can help you learn to quiet your heart and focus your senses; if you can learn to predict when you'll be jumped, you won't feel nearly as skittish. Also," he turned and looked at her fully, "you need to stop stealing acorns from the squirrels, they're taking them back because they were theirs."
