ROLEPLAYER OF THE MONTH
ian – a second nomination, i know, but this bean really deserves all the credit they can get. despite issues with their laptop, stresses at work and school, and general life troubles that can sometimes feel like an uphill battle, they never cease to amaze me with how easily they can sweep me into their writing and transport me to another world – even if it's only a few sentences.
CHARACTER OF THE MONTH
tasman role-played by ian – i wasn't entirely sure what this character's personality and backstory would entail due to the description provided on the page, but after interacting with her, she isn't your run of the mill character. she's three-dimensional, she has depth, she has flaws as well as strengths, she can be led by fear and weakness just as anyone else can. her backstory is heartbreaking and yet she's overcome obstacle after obstacle to be where she is now. she really is the underdog, even if ian may not agree with me.

PAIR OF THE MONTH
eternalstar [ blank slate ] & skeletonkey [ sinful ] – this pair originally wasn't supposed to be a pair, it was a fluke that happened spontaneously in a kitting thread, but boy am i sure glad it did. they bounce off of each other like backboards in a game of air hockey; their sarcasm is tangible and the villainy that rolls off of them can be subtle at times and glaringly obvious at others. i love playing them and seeing what mischief they get up to next and i'm really looking forward to their future adventures.
