Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Eternalstar went to where she used to meet Scatteredstar, having told Thrushstar to meet her there as they left the gathering. Just the thought of his rather encouraging actions when Glowstar was flirting with him made her blood boil. It wasn't that she still had feelings for him, or felt possessive of his attention. It was that he should have known what Glowstar did to her, did to Springclan and not let such behavior slide. She shoved those feelings down though, knowing that expressing them was not something she wanted to do.
Thrushstar silently pushed himself through the brush. He shook a few stickies from his paw. "You chose an incredible place to speak." he said, grunting and padding closer to her. "So what is this about?" he said, an edge to his tone. It had been months, maybe even years since he's seen Eternalstar and she just shows up at a gathering as leader? The striped tom wasn't sure of his feelings quite yet of the female, however he was of course so eager to hear what she had to say. Her familiar scent calmed him. "Sorry. You said you wanted to talk?"
Eternalstar held back the sharp retort she wanted to deliver in reply, not appreciating the edge to his first words. "I wanted to catch up, what's the harm in that?" Eternalstar sniffed, showing just a little bit of how he had offended her. "Perhaps I wondered how you have been? How you became leader?" She would never mention the whispers she had spread to Scatteredstar's ear, not one to ever admit to having a soft spot for another. "I also wanted to say I'm sorry." She didn't say for what, as she felt that didn't need to be stated.
Thrushstar couldn't help his eyes narrowing down on her gaze. "Sorry?" he asked. He knew what the apology was for, however, it still hurt him to be hearing it just now. "After we.. I was so afraid. I was worried about you so much.." he admitted. His feelings in their short time together had grown immensely, something he was never able to say to Eternalstar. He knew, or he thought at least, that at their age she would have never wanted to settle with him. But here they are now, much older, wiser, and both leaders..
He sat calmly. "I'm just glad you are back." he said softly.
