Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Frostkit sniffled as he stared at his paw, the one he had just stepped on a particularly pointy rock with. There was no cut, no blood, but it didn't change the fact that now his paw really hurt. The small tom hated being in pain, avoided it with a deep resentment. Which might spell poorly for his future as a warrior, or it might mean he would be an excellent fighter simply in his quest to avoid suffering any sort of pain at all.
Sunkit strolled out of the nursery. He was on his way to visit his sister Breakingkit again in the medicine cat den, wanting to bring her some food to help give her strength. As he walked past his white denmate, he noticed his face seeming contorted in pain. Instead of making it to the medicine cat den he veered towards Frostkit. Holding a vole just big enough to take up his entire tiny mouth, he set the fresh-kill in front of Frostkit and asked, "Hey, are you okay?"
Large round eyes blinked towards Sunkit, looking behind him to check that the other kit was actually talking to him. Not used to being approached by those who didn't know him, though he felt at times that he should be approached more often. "I just stepped on a stone." Frostkit replied trying to downplay his upset, having scared away a few others by being too much of a 'cry-baby'. "Are you eating that vole are by yourself?" He asked a little incredulously.
The small golden kit shook his head. "No, I was going to bring it to my sister. She's sick with something-cough. Though, Softpelt didn't say whether or not it was okay to bring it to her..." Sunkit looked down at the vole he was going to bring to his sister, now pondering his choices. Would eating make her sicker? He didn't want to do something he wasn't supposed to, then looked back up at Frostkit and asked "Would you wanna eat it with me instead? I don't mind. I can't eat it alone." He gave his denmate a warm smile with vibrant green eyes.
