Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The day was breezy and chilled and making it challenging hunting conditions. The grey and ginger tabby top hopped up onto of fallen log. Applecrisp paused surveying his surroundings. When it had been suggested that he go on a hunting trip with his little sister Ivorypaw. It felt strange for Applecrisp to be around his little sister. He had been around for majority of her kithood. The roll of raising Ivorypaw had fallen heavily on his littermate Seablossom. Leading to the two siblings having very little interaction between them. The tom glanced back behind him to see where Ivorypaw was located.
Ivorypaw had grumbled and moaned when she'd all but been forced on this hunting patrol with her older brother. Who did Seablossom think she was kicking her out of the camp for a few hours! Not her mother, that's forseure. Besides the deputy was busy with the new kits, just another thing Ivorypaw wasn't happy about. It seemed like one thing after another, all tallying up to make her life even more miseriable. Spotting Applecrisp staring at her, she snapped at him with "what! Got something to say too! Save it. I'm sure Seablossom already said it, no point trying to act like my dad and tell me what to do too. I've already got one false parent." She was furious. For the longest time, she'd been grateful for Seablossom caring for her, raising her. Now she they were pushed to the side for the new kits, her father was dead, and she was no longer important. And plus, no one could seem to see that but her!
When Applecrisp agree to this hunting trip. He knew it wouldn’t be easy to spend time with his younger half-sister. When he was met with her attitude filled comment. The warrior’s grey tabby marked ear flicked backwards in annoyance. “I was going to ask you if you had any ideas on where we should hunt, but with that attitude I so believe I will change the subject. I am not going to act like dad nor will I attempt to parent you. I will only tell you what to do on this hunting trip because I’m a warrior and your still an apprentice until your warrior ceremony Ivorypaw and if I am telling you what to do it’s because I’m concerned about your safety.” Applecrip answered and let a small sigh. “How is something the matter Ivorypaw?” He asked.
"Why do you care? Did Seablossom tell you to do this?" Why else would her dear older brother want to sepnd time with her. He hadn't before. Everything, just like it did now, fell onto Seablossom's shoulders. It irratated the apprentice, but at the same ime she was too mad to care. Ivorypaw walked right past the tom, not caring what he had to say. She figured it probably be just more lies. Like what they tried to tell her when they refused to tell her how dad died. For her own good they say. That's just a lie! For all she knew, Peanutblossom could still be alive and just moved clans. Who ever liked this clan anyways. Maybe she'd find that new clan and go live with her dad.
