Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Brakenfire felt the convulsions hit in the middle of the night. Oh StarClan please don't let it happ-- She let out a bloodcurlding yowl as another one wrecked through her body.
Softpelt had been dealing with some of her greencough patients when she heard the yowl. Immediately the fluffy white she cat hurried to wrap up with her current patient, before darting out to find out what the yowling was about. The newer medicine cat was exhausted from having to work so hard, but she was fortunately up already.
When she arrived by Brackenfire's side she immediately discerned the situation. "You're kitting." She realized, and quickly ran over what was needed, she looked around for Brackenfire's mate or someone. But seeing no one she sighed. "I'll be right back." She said quickly, making sure Brackenfire was mostly okay before hurrying back to her den. Coming back a minute later, the medicine cat setting down some herbs as she went over to a puddle and washed her paws to make sure she wouldn't be risking contaminating the newborns. "All right, okay, guess the kits couldn't wait till morning huh, do you need some water?" Softpelt asked reaching behind her and setting down some water filled with moss by Brackenfire.
The she-cat licked greedily at the moss. "No, they couldn't," she said, an edge to her tone. Another yelp escaped from her jaws as another convulsion pulsed through her body. She's always wanted kits, however she never figured it would be this hard. Breathing heavily she looked up at Softpelt. "Am I doing okay?" she frantically asked.
